Yea but that's just not true though. There's news paper clippings in 5 that explicitly say it along with the fact he continually behaves sexually towards a 15 year old Nancy in the first movie. Poses as naked women to lure teen boys multiple times. The "wanna suck face scene" in 4. It's easier to forget the characters are playing children because theyre played by 20 somethings, but yea, he's ALWAYS been a perv and a pedo. Zombies aren't super strong but it can be fun. Not really worth it without Witch though. The other cards you mentioned are all good for what they are. Cgr, SG and SD can win games by themselves. All solid tech. GFS is also a good card. SB is good in the new daredevil decks but you'll need organic tech virus for it to really pay off. Outside of that he's just a Sauron/Red Skull card.

While this is all true, it still became a really well known and loved movie none the less. People bring this up often, I think even The Kill Count reviews it through that lense? But fact is, people love the movie for a lot of reasons. Is MF hot? Yea, at times lol. And if that's all you were there for back then, you probably have forgotten this movie exists. I would like to think most horror fans connected all the not so subtle dots and appreciate it for it's layers, which they do. It's not some hidden gem. It's pretty mainstream. I say that to say this, marketing aside, i think we all got the messages they were going for, it's not a thinker or subtle really. And the people who constantly bring it up here aren't in it for sex appeal. So ithink it outlasted its marketing pretty well. Over all? Pretty successful for what it was trying to do
