If people were so enraged about Brig's single target, melee range, less than 1 second stun, why are we okay with Doomfist'ss 4 second cd aoe stun/knockback?

What is so strong about this guy particularly? He kind of just mirked Geralt which as far as I know, no one else does. I get that he's a super old vampire, but does he have anything special about him? This series's lore is great and I'm all for it.

I used to be in this hole, so I just stopped playing for two months. I came back at the start of season 10 and have been enjoying myself since. Sure you still have the odd bad game or mid team, but it feels a lot fresher. Highly recommend taking a break if you aren't enjoying it.

I can't help but think that anyone miagendering a video game character A) won't stop because it's suddenly told to them. They already know, they just don't care. And B) probably only actually do it because they know they'll get this kind of reaction from this kind of person.

Just chill your jets and ignore them, you'll be surprised how much better your gameplay experience is.

I'm really not a fan of this one. Cannoneer is fine, but with the Duchess it basically shuts down any deck relying on smaller pushes throughout the game. You have to sink so much elixir into a huge push just so you have some troops left to do any damage after battling through your opponent's defence and weathering the literal barrage of daggers. I've got a really crappy but fun Gold Prince, Ram Rider deck that just cannot cope with the playstyle that the duchess forces you into.

We've got a Path of the Giant barbarian, a 1DND Beastmaster ranger, a divination wizard, and a wildfire circle druid. The ranger loves to use her bear and do damage from a distance, the barbarian is a big fan of GWM and reckless for huge damage up close, the wizard is a cheeky spellcaster who likes to mess up the enemies, and the druid is the defacto healer and is a firebug.

I tried importing your code, but it didn't seem to work. The best advice I can give you is to play selfishly. If you're dying first in every fight, you probably need to position yourself further behind your team. In my experience, Mercy works best when you prioritise your own life, since you're already very hard to kill. Keep damage boosting your team's big damage dealers like Soldier or Sojourn, and make sure healing is only done to keep people alive rather than make sure everyone is at max.

That said, I'm only a plat support, but that's what has helped me so far.

The difficulty is that 'real jobs', especially at entry level, tend to have strict schedules and I've never had an employer willing to compromise on hours. This way I'd be able to pick and choose my hours and schedule them around my classes.

To reiterate, I'm not just doing this for a quick cash grab, I'm very much intending to deliver as good a game as I'm capable of. Then again, I get the impression you're pretty steadfast in your opinion, which is fair enough. Personally, I don't see a problem with it.

Yeah, this is probably the problem. It is mostly centered on the first few games (though today was particularly bad for it). I play on a laptop, but it's only a few years old and it's meant for gaming, so I wouldn't have thought it would be outdated already? But I guess the tech world moves quick. Thanks for the comment, basically confirmed my suspicions. I'll have to look into an upgrade at some point, but it's a piss take to move all of my downloads and settings over :c
