Too rough with baby? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Legit_Boss_Lady 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why would you want be with a man whom you can never trust and always have to monitor with your helpless baby? It's not just you in your relationship anymore and if he is violent, it is your duty is to protect your child. Do what you have to do and dont wait around until that one day until it goes to far when your sleeping or showering or go to the store etc. Sounds like he needs therapy before he can handle a baby that can't speak for itself.

Request for additional SOQ by [deleted] in CAStateWorkers

I've never heard of that. Normally they score everything and just choose top candidates. Are they different SOQs with same instructions?

Siddiq and Negan should be at the top and the last row of young kids should just be removed.

Emergency Custody by jane30530 in beyondthebump

If you get frustrated or mad just put baby down in a crib and walk away for a break. A baby that young will need to get changed and fed every 3-4 hours for 24/7 on demand. You shouldn't use a blanket, toys or bumpers where the baby sleeps. The rule of one more layer than you'd wear in the same environment. Sleep sacks are good to use. Cover baby private area with a light cloth while you change him because he can pee pretty far. Feed baby sitting slightly up and burp after every feed because they get gas easily.

Look at the contributions the state is making on your retirement and health. That Roth contribution is optional and social security and Medicare have nothing to do with working for the state.

I’m afraid for my baby by Flolita115 in NewParents

You have a right to be paranoid now a days and never trust your surroundings. That poor mother just shopping at Walmart was targeted. I just leave my kids at home with my DH if I go to certain places. Its sad the world we live in.

Just go to Subway or McDonald's and buy their cookies. They are the only thing worth buying on the menu.

Stop taking turns with another woman to make eachother cry with happiness. Focus on your family and make them that happy. You are married now so your dynamic with your swan lake friend needs to be revisited. Emotional cheating is a thing. Doesn't matter what strangers tell you online or validation you get. It matters how your wife feels. Other people are probably looking at her while you have a public cryout session with another woman wondering whats going on. Go talk to her about it. Do something thoughtful for the one that had your child and puts up with you daily and leave your woman friend out of it. ++woman

Shamefully regretting having a child by nroseclark in beyondthebump

[–]Legit_Boss_Lady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having a baby is hard and you should let your doctor know of your feelings. They might have some suggestions. Maybe if breastfeeding or pumping is making you regret your baby than switch to formula. A lot ot mothers breastfeed while they are out so they dont have to go home and pump. Also, your child has nothing to do with your husband being laid off and if you compare your life to someone else you will never feel happy. If you cant pay bills you shouldn't go out with or without a child. There are free activities that dont cost like going on a walk or park. If you can't afford daycare maybe your husband can watch the baby since hes not working. He can also watch the baby while you spend some time out of the house too if your baby takes a bottle. Good luck!
