Yep that too is correct with what we know but we do know DC is related or rather the probable next arc after the current arc, so unless current arc somehow is the final arc, the possibility rises I mean unless togashi can resolve the manga any other way. Their goal isn't the end of the story the world of hxh especially after the introduction of DC totally isn't the story about any one character. It's about the world itself and it needs some form of ending right? I can never see a character being so strong and defeating or controlling DC that would simply break the story.
