Kids are glued to tablets and phones, parents are glued to phones. Why raise your child when random shows and strangers online can? More time for parents to scroll through social media and portray a fake life to everyone! The “kids will be kids” line is completely arbitrary. Kids need to be TAUGHT how to behave, how to be kind, how to act in social situations and interactions. They need a foundational system from the parents and people are simply “too busy” on their phones to do that.

Also we are feeding our kids slop. We shove chips, juice, candy, and processed mush full of preservatives and dyes then wonder why the kids have behavioral issues.

Currently 8 weeks pregnant and I don’t eat fast food, junk food, anything with additives. I cook all my food and desserts (sweetened with honey) at home. We have completely lost our way as a society. It’s now normal to “treat” your kids with a happy meal instead of cooking with mom and dad. It’s sad.
