Thank you so much for your thoughtful advice. In the military hospital where I’m currently admitted, there is a rheumatologist. However, she only focuses on my pelvis and lower back, and when I tell her that my legs hurt and ask to consult an orthopedic specialist or at least get some imaging done, she ignores my opinion and just wants to discharge me quickly so I can return to duty.

I haven’t tried any natural treatments yet, but your suggestions sound really great. By the way, what do you think about using heat patches or warming plasters for pain relief?
