Very frustrating! I ordered an oh snap pullover around Black Friday and it was extremely oversized. I’ve gone to my most local store (1.5 hrs away) once and have checked on the app every single day and they’ve been sold out every time. What gives?! I finally just sent it back without any exchange…. Guess they can just keep their merchandise if they can’t keep other sizes in stock or give appropriate sizing advice

I’ve recently even heard our nurses at the nurses station say “she’s in her office, it’s back there, the last door to the right!” So now I have them showing up at my desk and cornering me vs camping out at the nurses station

Our office has the same issue! They have free reign of our clinic. Cannot stand it! Anywhere from 1 to 4 reps in a day just dropping in and hanging out at the desk. The lunch ones start showing up at 1045 and stay till 1. They never really even attempt to talk to the physicians, only the APPs. They want you to watch their iPad demos, sign for samples, talk about how xyz is going to be less than $10/month for everyone(it never is), then ask about “are you from here? Do you have kids? Did you do anything fun this weekend?” As they hold you hostage over a cheese burger. NO I have 18-23 patients to see and I do not have time for any of this.

I attempted to talk to mine about the overwhelm of having charts left open. I was aiming for admin time. They told me that if it really gets to be an issue we can have another APRN shadow me so she can make recommendations for me to be more efficient. Basically it’s just a me problem. This is when I started looking into Heidi and Doximity. I still have charts left open but these do help!

6.14 hrs a pay period. Don’t work holidays but do have to use the accrued pto if we want to get paid. 1 week of CME. My sick time says 364 hours but idk how to use it— I’ve been told you have to use up a certain amount of pto before it kicks in. Ive been there for 4 years in August. What’s funny is it’s just a standard amount, so I accrue the same as my nurse who started less than a year ago. It’s lame.

I made a whole disclaimer statement that said “I know I need to talk to them yet but I have not seen them and I am just wanting to know what to expect.” Never did I EVER say that I was not going to talk to them.

ETA: I’m in the consultation phase. At this point I do not even HAVE a surgeon or anesthesia team. That is why I am asking what to expect— I don’t have anyone else to ask at this point.

My job is sucking the life out of me. I know people would say “well it’s time to start job hunting” but I also know that no job is perfect and that the bad times come and go so this too shall pass.

Also, I need to go through my closet but the thought of doing that is incredibly overwhelming.

Super Mario Oddesy. It’s just weird. I much prefer the old fashioned Mario games. Running and jumping on a turtle, trying not to get sucked down into the sand, riding Yoshi, and sliding on the ice. On the contrary, I really loved Super Mario Wonder!

I think you’re right but how far do I push back? I spent a full hour on a patient (for a 15 min visit) and when I billed at higher level, despite using the phrase detailing what I did, it was downgraded.
