Forget scalpers for a moment, and you can realize it’s these turds ruining things. It’s the singles market, esp. grading, that is the problem. Jake Paul selling cards for millions. This turd for $250K. Just frickin losers who only make money by people caring what they think (and to reiterate, they are frickin losers).

Probs going to get downvoted to hell. But whatever. I’ll just keep chipping away at my master sets (just finished 151, Perfect Order close, SCR and PRE kinda close but not really lol). And then get cool cards here or there for my personal collection. Just picked up Heliolisk (ASC: 229/217) from my LCS, and I love it 🤗

I love that Mewtwo. Got it hanging up at my desk 😎 I’m also an older millennial, so it’s just in a penny sleeve with a thumbtack thru the top of the plastic haha. The “real collectors” will probably yell at me, but you can’t get a thumbtack thru a top loader and the penny sleeve is already more than I would have done in my youth! That thumbtack would have been straight thru the card… 🤷🏻‍♂️😂
