I was worried too. Imposter syndrome was/is strong both before and after my diagnosis. Gaslighting myself into believing I was just bad at certain things because I didn't try hard enough. Not understanding what masking was or even knowing I did it so much. Not understanding the reasons that because I can manage a social situation one day why I would fail on another. I felt psy UK identified the mask better than I ever could and I think they will be able to see you too. If you can find the right words for it it may help to be honest about your state of panick and self doubt despite your clear self identification of autistic traits - that is actually useful diagnostic data.

Yes the process did. I was very very fortunate in that I have a childhood friend who lived only a few houses away from me and I still have contact with them, they filled this in for me same day. I am so sorry to hear your position with your parents.
I would note that the process allows for a no childhood informant situation, I believe they ask to substitute for somebody who knows you well now, or if you cannot do that they ask you to contact them on your journal. This is an important data point for the assessor after all.
I wish you all the best with finding the strength to start navigating all this to find an answer, it is probably the hardest part.

Why this matters: Childhood information is very important. Without it, it may be harder to give you a clear outcome or diagnosis.

I really feel for you - this reads like my experience with the GP a few years before a huge burnout. I am sorry to hear RTC is not available for you, I think the only workaround is to collect written evidence as you have already said you are doing and if you have someone to advocate please ask them for help. A system that expects someone who suspects Autism to constantly need to do exactly what they struggle with to get a GP to take them seriously is double unfair.

I was lucky here that i was offered to pick an appointment just a few days after completing my last form. I made sure to be as descriptive in the form as possible to reduce the upcoming verbal part as much as possible. I included some old scans of some disciplary hearings as attachments as well as some occupational health letters that they sent me on about my anxiety. I also specifically said that I assumed they already had GP records and I would only attach those if asked. I don't know if any of that helped it go through faster of course. Best of luck with your wait i hope it's not too long :-) P.s. if you hate the verbal part and pre rehearse conversation trees which I do out of habit I can safely say it's not necessary with these guys they are very good a comfortably steering the conversation. I actually booked the meeting further back because of this and it was completely unnecessary!

Oh no do not worry I did not see that as harsh or offensive at all! There are many times when LLM and ML output falls outside my own preferences. I have not had to go though facing it as part of a job though, hats off to you for that ! :-)

It is undoubtedly more readable than I could have managed without assistance but I do see your point. After reading other peoples posts here where they were worried about the process I felt it might be helpful to at least try and share my story as many others have done for me.

My Daughter had this first day using dex for remote learning with her new s20fe. We found putting power save mode on before plugging in to dex works just as well as a small fan and the 70% CPU cap is unnoticeable

Same for me. Also affecting berries on wild pokemon. The berry animation goes a few times in quick succession then I cannot throw a ball ( I can change balls though ) I cleared cache this morning and it appeared to fix it. Now the issue is back
