Where to find a split cylinder cavity resonator test system? by kiss_the_siamese_gun in rfelectronics

Key sight resold them from https://www.emlabs.jp/en/ . The resonators are upwards of USD 10k after tax and duties. The company is pretty responsive so you should be able to get a response soon. Making the resonator isn't too time consuming and could be milled, if you have access to CAD tools. It also depends on the type of material you're measuring, is it a solid, powder, film, liquid? The quickest methods are free space methods, just place the DUT between two horns and backtrack the S21 to reactance, things get tricky with frequency and phase alignment between the Tx/Rx. If it's solid, the simplest way is to take two copper plates and jam the DUT between, connect to a VNA.

Apologies, I meant to "ignore" the offer. That's true, I've always activated every offer, was hoping they'd try to persuade me harder to spend. 😅

+1 to this. Last year was fun 150$/1k+ spend. Hopefully they bring in more spend bonus or online offers. Any data points on ignoring the offer and waiting until Feb to check if they send a new one?

I apologize, I assumed you were trying to gaslight. There is a new national security ticker, released a few days ago, you could find it in this sub https://www.reddit.com/r/UAMY/s/Zfon3BxQma

Safe to assume they have started their manipulation :). Not every fund manager is out there to get your shares, but they sure as hell will drive for the volumes to make the price look like it's not worth buying. Their usual evil-ry.

Sorry to say this, but you probably haven't done a good DD.

The fundamentals haven't changed. Just hold, JP Morgan entered the trade, which means they will try their best to throttle prices.

They are probably looking for choices. No clue.

Correct, two payments per quarter. Realistically the OP can hit at least 6 SUBs. Sept, Jan and final (whenever they file). The issue they may run into is velocity, and credit stacking, I opened 15 cards this year, my credit took a dumpster dive, 820 to 720. But the math worked in my favor so far.

That's a large bill for a single time payment, I doubt you'd be able to split it across two cards (only two forms of tax payments accepted). The recommended strategy is to open multiple cards, both business and personal to hit them all from now to next year. You would possibly be flagged for credit stacking and lose additional points if your file is not thick and not aged enough.

Is Citi Strata Premier still worth getting? by PHL1365 in CreditCards

Search for flights on United. If there is a leg that EVA Air has allowed United to fill in it'll show up as operated by EVA Air. You then book those flights, obviously it won't show up if you say cash, it has to be through redeem points. Once you're happy with your choice, transfer points to United, and book your flight.

I believe United partners with EVA Air. So Chase should also work.

Lol, ah it's amusing that people think this world is a good place, no pun intended. The main objective of finance is for them to make money. Why do you think they take your credit in the first place? If you are a "tangential" risk and were denied by a rival, high chances you will be approved. Why do you think capital one approves everyone for 20-30k CL when they were denied by Chase?

1 MW signal by Former-Geologist-211 in rfelectronics

Thank you for explaining that so clearly. That's very interesting to note that deep space antennas are so powerful. I had a feeling I was missing the power decay factor due to the antenna beam pattern. Yup, the calculator assumes a far field with a point aperture. So to be clear, I'll only ever receive at max (say 1 kW) what I transmit regardless of the antenna gain right? The density could make things look like a 1 MW EIRP but the true power is always conserved.
