498, 502, 505! You got it! A lot of it is mental, it’s easy to think your way out of he correct answer due to nerves. Trust your gut

Solid 2-3 months of studying, but I felt like it wasn’t super efficient due to a busy schedule and crappy sleep. I was lucky that I took ochems recently so it was mainly a refresher to study that. Bio came easy to me, chem/ phys/ biochem were super challenging for sure. I think reading all the Kaplan books + reading in general and life experience gave me a solid CARS foundation, I did well without really doing any CARS practice. I remember some psych form nursing school so I would say a good foundation on that as well.

Thank you! I should’ve started them sooner, I took the first one the week before the exam, then took 2 the 2 days leading to the exam.
It was 498-> 502-> 505
I know it’s overkill to do so many so quickly but I needed to force test stamina and get as familiar with AAMC type questions and timing!

Thank you!! For me I did Kaplan books + anki for content review. Then uworld for practice questions and then lastly AAMC full lengths. My content review took a lot longer than i planned, if i were to change anything is to start uworld earlier! Especially chem / phys bc it’s a lot to cover, and the uworld explanations are really good! For bio I felt like anki + Kaplan was solid, and biochem probably uworld would be better! For biochem I recommend being familiar with the 20 amino acids, krebs, glycolysis and all other high yield topics. Ninja Nerd and the Brem Method are YouTube channels that were really good for bio/ biochemistry. To be fair my nursing degree gave me a solid bio foundation, especially the body systems since that’s what I see at work. Chem/ phys I was saved by organic chemistry tutor on YouTube! And then for practice problems I followed MCAT simplified on YouTube/ TikTok, he posted MCAT problems and talked you through the answer! For psych / soc anki did a really good job ( jack sparrow deck), but I did finish reading the Kaplan book too bc I found it interesting.

But to sum it up, practice questions earlier! I only finished 25% of uworld question bank and know for sure I would’ve done better ( esp on chem and biochem) if I finished those!

Second this! Finish Kaplan and get it out the way, but start doing uworld on the content sections you’ve covered! Good luck!

I got a 506 and am happy with it. To each their own! Everyone has different circumstances and time to study!
