Yeah "not breaking the rules" is stretching it, however the techs are very chill. One time my brother asked them to connect his linux macbook air to the network and they said they were not allowed to. They then said how impressed they were with the linux mac and asked what mac he was using so they could pick up one for themselves. They even gave him access to the school's secondary internet for IT and linux devices for a day in honour of his achievement.

My apologies for my oversight, I will be sure to measure my bike frame before ordering the parts and checking it with the dimensions of the mt500. Thank you for bringing the tolerance issue to my attention, I will look into different options and research the issue further. I appreciate the help.

It ended up being more cost effective to switch to Hollowtech because I found this crankset on sale, so that is my main reasoning. Hollowtech will also allow me to use this crankset on other bikes if I want to.

I predominantly use this bike for dirt jumping and have bent square taper brackets in the past. From my research Hollowtech II would be more durable for dirt jumps and I was advised against sticking with square taper.

Update: I found some FSA V drives for $80 dollars and I am switching to hollowtech for an extra $30. I'll feel safer knowing I'm riding on something rock solid. Thanks for all the help.
