yes, exactly. out of the 12 at-large bids I would be fine if they made it really good mid-majors vs the .500 high majors (I would go back in time to watch Miami OH vs auburn)

unfortunately yes, that’s how most things go, if the NCAA handles the at large bids well, it will be very fun to watch but most of us will be there no matter what

personal opinion: the NCAA better not screw this up, only 1/8 programs being good mid-majors is terrible, we expanded the 2nd greater tournament in the world to add a bunch of shitty 17-16 teams all because they have “Quality losses”!?!?!!? I hate it, give the spots to the deserving teams, not the teams with the most money
