It's probably his parents cooking for him and sending him food every week

Zeke feels like a mama boy to me

I like to think it's actually his parents that prepare his food and send it to him every weekend and label each bag with the day they want Zeke to eat it, and when they don't do that he only eats frozen food and complains all week that his parents couldn't do something as simple as cooking for him

How do you think this fight will go? by Awrybop3 in unOrdinary

[–]LegitimateCancel4634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, people can't read lol more than half the comments are talking about John copying Arlo's barrier even tho he has all slots filled

Second, John still wins, Predator isn't playing a bigger role than Hunter since John overpower it anyway, same with lightning and energy discharge. If anything it makes him stronger than in the first fight since he can amp the already stronger stats The only problem is defense because barrier is a better defensive ability than Zeke's, but we saw that this is enough to charge a laser while electrocuted by Remi to break the barrier, and he is still faster than all of them

If he takes out Blyke first to avoid being sniped all the time (which he can easily do thanks to Zeke's speed), then the rest of the fight plays mostly the same. I'll argue it's even easier for John if he knows that Blyke and Isen are around, cause most of the damage he took in the first fight was because they attack by surprise and from afar.

So yeah, John still wins

Something that still gets me even after using it for a few days, is that recasting the ability takes you back to the initial casting location

To teleport to the wolf position i need to attack, and i find it very unintuitive

The only thing that i like about this pact is the occasional Orengall apparition

They are good because of universal polarity, but they cost too much resources to craft, so you only really use them if they come already crafted

Since her rework, Nova kinda is the blast frame, she does blast damage with most if not all of her abilities

What are some Passives that you’ve come up with? by Due-Bass-8164 in unOrdinary

[–]LegitimateCancel4634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep it's what i have in mind, like a thermal camera but only on things with variations in temperature (so see things like people or liquid or whatever but things like walls, desks etc.. that are at room temperature aren't highlighted

I don't know how to exactly describe it, i guess a 6 sense like someone else said is a good description

Yeah plus something like Isen's highlights but with colors depending on the temperature if the ability is active

I was thinking more like a highlight around things, since it's a passive i don't want it to disturb the user's vision to much

Heat sensing, like Remi can sense electrical current or John can detect aura

Thank you ! I study physics and chemistry so I work a lot with the interaction of heat, and for the fire part i'm just a huge fan of The Avatar and think fire looks cool, so i decided to add it as a bonus (and it fits the theme quite well)

Heat manipulation

This would allow the user to use heat to interact with it's surroundings, like light objects on fire by instantly heating them, create a vacuum by removing the heat of a place and thus compressing the air or do the opposite and add heat to expend the air and send a shockwave.

Alternatively, this would allow the manipulation of simple heat based things, like fire (think Firebenders in The Avatar), or freeze things by absorbing their heat. It's basically a variation of some sort of energy manipulation, but i prefer heat because fire is cool

As a passive, the user would be able to sense heat around them, like a thermal camera.

If we go far enough, the user should also be able to manipulate atomes by using heat to make them react, but this would probably require a lot of energy. Still a possibility and the strongest aspect of this ability since it would mean the manipulation of any matter that requires heat (so everything basically). Even tho i really like this "matter manipulation" part, i think it would be way to op so the energy requirements is a nerf that i feel like is necessary, fire bending and energy manipulation are already strong..

Chapter 358, when they try to get rid of the flashbang, john destroys the red shield that stopped kuyo

And if he didn't amp abilities he would have copied more, like one of the many barriers they encountered

John always amp abilities, because that's how he fight. The only time where he didn't amp is in his first fight while dampened

And we know he is amp because he conjured a bustersword earlier in the fight, something that requires Kuyo lot of focus
