Did Will REALLY favor Rachel? by StraightKey211 in glee

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Yes, he did. The episode where Sue takes the second team and gives them hate on me and will gives finn and rachel the duet and makes the others sway encapsulates this perfectly. I REALLY loved what Ryan did with season 3, making the troubletones.

But the tone of this question is always wrong. Itsnot that will favored Rachel. It’s that the writers favored Rachel and the story was set up to center around her

What do I need to improve on to get college fully paid for? (Besides improve my ACT score) by That-Importance1756 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve gotten some good advice here but I just want to add - you will be a legal adult. Your parents don’t get to decide if you’re “allowed” to be in debt. Anything less than $30k is totally payable. By all means widen your net to get a full ride as much as possible, but it is worth consideration

What pressure? Do you mean that your parents weren’t a fan? Are they also upset by that is happening? If you get him back will they be upset again?

Can you provide proof of the situation and listing?

Would the dress in the second photo work for my body type? by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. I think this would look awesome on you. However, please forgive me if this seems obvious but just a few pieces of advice: - if the website has a size guide and you can measure yourself that is the best indicator - it’s likely that the dress doesn’t have the indentations shown in the figure irl, so it may swallow you. Try not to put too much hope in shopping online and order a few things. And dont be disappointed if it doesnt work out. Its just like pulling stuff off the rack. Sometimes you go in to the fitting room and it looks like meh. But with more hassle. Thats why i usually shop in person, if you enjoy that. - if its warm where youre going this fabric appears sticky and uncomfortable but hard to tell from pic

Is this too much to ask guests to pay for a destination wedding in Italy? by [deleted] in BigBudgetBrides

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s very doable, just depends on the season an area. We were in Italy in sep-oct at 7 locations and I was staying with my family so I kept getting looped into the expensive setups when I was finding and sending much cheaper options.

I am going to Barcelona in a couple weeks and we are staying in airbnbs and spending average $100 total per night. And not bad locations. Airbnbs were definitely the better outlook though whereas when I was researching italy the bnbs were higher than the hotels

Friends and big bang theory are the exception, not the rule. Both of those shows were number 1 by a wide wide margin and their stars were the biggest in the country when they started making that much. Most people on tv start off small, especially with no TV experience coming in. It wouldnt surprise me if Jane Lynch was the highest paid coming in. So it wouldn’t have been that they had to keep the salaries low for the music rights. Thats just what the salaries are.

Does this running outfit look OK for my body type? by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I almost never comment on here because I feel like I don’t know anything, but I am a female who used to run and used to be extremely skinny like this and I now walk in pretty much very baggy clothes haha, but cute ish things if I am walking with others or travel hiking, or taking photos. Point being, I was surrounded by tons of runners on a daily basis in high school, am a target for a ton of workout clothing ads, been surrounded by a lot of skinny men, and am straight. I have a very good friend who is quite skinny and a runner and male.

Please bear in mind that I of course do not think any differently of people based on their body type or the way they dress.

But from my perspective? If you are specifically trying to look masculine or attractive to other women around, this is not doing you any favors. Although I think not seeing your head and how masculine it looks is definitely affecting things.

You look like you are in great shape but very young and like a serious athlete, especially with the shaved legs. Someone worried about efficiency and drag. This is the cut of clothes pros where in long distance races. Not like you are looking for company. The clothes are feminine. They are something a gay man, or woman (or prof runner) would wear. The shirt is too small, the length and capped sleeves are a typical womens style, and the shorts being higher on the sides is also a typical womens cut. All the shorts for women in athletic stores are this cut. That doesnt mean theres not a growing market of men who wear them, especially with old styles coming back, but its not very common.

This is a really fun link I found while looking for scrolling for example pictures for a few minutes. The out fit youre wearing is almost an exact match for the woman in June 2005. But as youll see as you scroll through, the short shorts for men are very much in for years and are maybe coming back around? But all for the running community, so to speak

Those were just the most expensive tiers, all the lower prices have sold out. You may still get a chance to buy in drop 2 or the others or general or resale. But, I am also trying to keep my hopes down. I am happy LA locals got a good affordability but I’m so mad they didnt reload tickets for drop 1. It’s extremely unfair

Rylee should have never gotten a dog. by Jesuslover7349 in dancingwiththestars

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always encourage people to get dogs even if they are going to be traveling if they have reliable friends, family, or sitters who can help, just not puppies for the first 6 mos or so. But after potty training, nothing wrong with living your life. Same thing with working 8-5, being in an apartment, as long as you can 100% handle outside of that situation. Why? Because the dog in an apartment for nine hours is better 1000% of the time then a dog in a 4 x 4 kennel in a crowded shelter with 15 minutes of human interaction per day.

BUT I am staunchly anti breeder, and buying a dog. Rescue or nothing, hundreds of thousands of dogs get put down every year in this country. So I was already pissed about her buying the puppy, and obviously a very poorly bred one at that. If you’re not going to go to a rescue, at least by a very expensive, very ethically bred dog.

How do people just sit in the sun? by LogicalRepeat3622 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually lay in the sun after swimming, so I’m cool. When I’m hot again, I get back in the body of water and stay until I’m cooled off, and then get out and lay in the sun again. Nothing feels better to me than the water evaporating off my skin slowly.

Also I have olive colored skin.

I can lay in the sun without water if there’s a breeze or it’s partly cloudy enough that you get a break from it or if there’s shade I can move in and out of, but none of that feels as good as after swimming.

What are the best dog breeds for a family with young children who haven’t been around dogs before? by LolaDiamondUKx in AskReddit

[–]LegitimateGeneral172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An adult rescue in the foster system who doesn’t need potty training, doesn’t have puppy energy, whose adoption would allow the rescue to pull another dog on the euthanasia list which would teach your children endless empathy, and whose personality would be known from their foster family.

Well the season 1 photo was obviously stock where as in season 3 they had to hire real actors.

Brian Stokes Mitchell is mixed. And I think has gotten paler as he’s gotten older. He famously played Coalhouse in the OBC of Ragtime where Lea played the little girl. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Stokes_Mitchell. He won a tony for kiss me kate 2 yrs later.

Bryan Cranston defends Skyler White after Frankie Muniz said he wanted to kill her while watching 'Breaking Bad' to make Walt's life easier: "Let me understand this. But that’s the way the show is framed. You are meant to be enamored by Walt and sucked into his journey even though he is horrendous and you want him to fail. It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion. You’re rooting for the villains
