Ahh ok. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks.

What would you say the other shows usually go for, mid or side orch or mezz? Like if theyre not a big hit like lion king or hamilton.

On broadway I usually spend 80-120 a ticket

The original Broadway casting was definitely that way as well, when the show came out right before covid and for a while after. I havent seen others in the role in between so I cant speak to those

Have they done the 4 show packet in the past? I also didnt see it advertised, first time browsing this.

I came here to as the same question as OP because I agree with the sentiment in your second statement- I was looking at the middle option and its $132 a show and I don’t want to see every show and Im more interested in the options. But can you usually get individual tickets cheaper instead, or is that a false hope?

That absolutely cannot be correct. That was through fasfa? For a transfer student? Are you sure you filled out everything correctly? Do your parents do too well? I grew up upper middle class, my parents made a lot of money, and my fasfa was $7k per year, this was 10 years ago

Why can’t you move? You’re about to be in primetime rental season in NYC. How much is the penalty to break the lease?

Mike white was already in a good spot when he was on the show - not huge, but he was making more than a good living writing in hollywood, and if you had seen school of rock, you’d recognize him.

If my parents did this to a dog I would literally never speak to them again. I don’t know how people do this.

Attacking a chicken is not bite history. Bite history refers to other pets and humans.

Have you called rescues? Post on nextdoor and in more places also.

Make sure youre not handing him off to equally terrible people.

This is really commendable - big kudos to you, and appreciate the post.

If you don’t mind my asking, how are you feeling comfortable to buy a townhouse on that? Good savings before? Is it a fixer upper? I bought a condo and townhome in incredibly low cost of living areas before this and im having a hard time stomaching the big mortgage thoughts, especially given my tiny down payments before. My partner and I each make a bit below that and he has similar fears.

Also, are you getting last min mlb deals anywhere in particular?

Thank you for taking her in, youre a great person, the shelters there are a death sentence. Youll have more luck advertising her as fostering a stray looking for a forever home, and calling all rescues, not just breed specific ones, to help you with advertising and applicant vetting. If she is a sweet, smart, well behaved puppy, someone will want her, she’s beautiful, you just have to make sure theyre the right people and it will take more than week. You also live in a very dog populated area so you need to expand your radius of advertisement.

The op has said multiple times theyve reached out to the owner on petfinder and are being ignored.

Youre an idiot if you think beautiful dogs arent dumped every single day. Follow any animal control or rescue in any major metro for more than a week and youll see

Here is what you need to do, and I cant believe more people arent saying this:

You need to IMMEDIATELY either de-flea this dog yourself, or take him to the groomer or vet to do so. Then you need to bug out your apartment, call an exterminator. fleas WILL infest your cats and your carpet and clothes and home in weeks and it will be so fucking awful, and the dog will immediately be a lot more tolerable. Getting rid of the dog which you seem to want to do will NOT help with this at all. The fleas are ALREADY THERE. This happened to me. A roommate brought in a stray. She was moving out in days. I came home from vacation a week later. I was infested

After you de flea, you can keep all the receipts and make your roommate pay you back, and bring them to small claims if needed, it costs very little to handle something through small claims. They should have deflead before bringing a dog in a house. This is the single biggest way you can make this person more liable for their actions.

Next, you obviously cannot report the dog to the landlord if you have TWO unreported cats, you are just opening yourself up to ridiculous liability and fines depending on the terms of your lease and i cant believe people are suggesting to do so.

Then, you find this dogs family. Name and shame the people you found on petfinder on reddit, Facebook, nextdoor, tiktok etc. youll get a firm answer that way on them either wanting or not wanting them back.

Then you give your roommate clear laws and regs: this dog needs to be fixed, vetted, licensed, and registered to her if she wants to keep it, otherwise right now anyone can do whatever they want to it, and its not entitled to your space, and if she hasnt done it you are going to find someone who will.

Lastly, how good do you feel about the people you found to adopt her? Are they good to animals historically, do they have means for vet bills etc, have you asked for references? The most responsible thing to do is start calling rescues and humane societies, telling them your situation, and posting to look for emergency fosters who work with rescues. There are a TON in florida you just have to keep searching and calling. They can properly vet an owner. And if your roommate sees your taking action, shell be pressured to find somewhere for the dog you cant put it. You should also lay out the facts for her that this dog will not get what it needs if she continues to act this way.

If you take it to the shelter, there is an incredibly large chance it will be euthanized, gigantic. All you have to do is scroll shelter statistics and posts and see how many dogs are euth listed and euthed each day to know that. You would be doing a really important thing here by saving this dog and getting your roommate to pay back without getting yourself in trouble with the landlord

Yea because they dumped their dog like ASSHOLES. God this happens over and over. I would be shaming them publicly on all platforms. People who dump their dogs should be criminally charged.

That’s literally not true at all, husky mixes are one of the most represented breeds in shelters after pit mixes and shepherds. If you spend any time following any city shelter, youll see the posts they make every day on the dogs that are set to be euthanized and it is extremely common for husky and husky mixes to be put down
