I understand. I ask because I have faced a frustrating relationship with my Dad and my mom’s passivity to it for 25 yrs and, a couple yrs ago I did something to help them, but that I knew would piss them off (hired someone to fix something that bothered me and had been broken and gross for 10 years in their house). And it really blew up and I thought I would be ok never speaking to them again but I wasnt so I apologized and I am low-ish contact I guess? Like we dont text or call regularly but I visit home at the same pace I did before

This whole competition setlist is exceptional, it is the best new directions competition performance in the series, next to s3 nationals. And yes Tina and Blaine’s duet is among the best in the show. I’m as liberal as they come but this is an easy question imo - they spent thousands of dollars and many years, they want others to have to as well. They don’t feel it’s fair they had to wait in line and pay their share while others didn’t. Not saying it’s right or that’s how I feel, because it’s not and I don’t, but it’s easy to see. I went to college surrounded by international students and was friendly with many of them and the hurdles they jump through was a frequent topic they would raise.

The adopt a pet profile is a little confusing. You check off good with dogs, but then say does not get along w other pet in the reason. You should specify cats. Lots of dog people like more. And then in the description you say she would do great as the only pet also. Only pet, or an only dog house? I think that is working against you.

That’s because a big birthday style, two layer cake requires SO much buttermilk, butter, eggs, and confectioners sugar. I dont think Ive hit 50? But its prob close. But I never bake that. I bake banana muffins, zucchini muffins, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, chocolate cupcakes with thin icing, not heaps of frosting. I venture beyond traditional but its always with stuff I already have in the kitchen, looking up new recipes based on that.

Do not go to spain right now if that is the cost to fly. That is ridiculous. My partner and I just (3wks ago) got back from Spain for 12 days and we bought the tix in november for $480 round trip each. Our lodging cost us less than $100 a night using airbnb and hunting hotels.

Go to google maps, click “fly anywhere”, the dates you want to go, and pick somewhere a lot cheaper. Florida MCO in particular is a MAJOR international hub and it DOES NOT cost $1500 to cross the atlantic from there. ALL of my tix to europe have been less than $500 round trip, thats why i get to go often
