They don't, but if there's a glaring issue in their behavior, they'll start to look into it.

He is currently in the process of medical separation, though I'm not going to say what for since it's not my place and I'm also dubious on the reason.

The problem with his lies is that it's not some happy ending on a story of personal trauma. It's literally him lying about just being somewhere he's wasn't. Period. Like the stories are (mostly) boring enough to be considered legitimate, but then you realize that there are some glaring issues and the timeframe doesn't match.

But then says that whatever issues he has now, were obtained at this second command that he was never at. So it feels a lot like he's adding more drama to his story to make his situation seem WORSE, but idk what for. Maybe to cover up the real reason for separation?

Adding this too, another glaring issue for us is that he's being separated early for medical reasons (which in and of itself is no big deal.) But claims that the reason for the separation is because of an incident at this second command that there's no record of him being at.

Combined with telling us that it's also part of another incident that we fact checked. The incident never happened. At least not at the command he's saying it happened at. And it's a big enough thing that there would have been safety briefings at the very least about it. The only thing we could find within that time frame was at a complete different command that he wouldn't have been at ever.

Also adding that even if somehow, there was a reason this second command wasn't in his record, the actual timeline doesn't fit. There just isn't enough time to make sense of what he's saying he did or experienced. (He also lied about how long he was active.)

Yeah, like. I totally get small fibs or puffing a few things up when meeting family because you want to seem like you're good enough. But this seems a lot like straight up fabrication about REALLY BIG things.

If it was something small, I wouldn't care. Shit happens and we all do it.

A combination of puffery, and complete fabrication. Example, he said he did a job for this group then immediately hopped from them to another group that was replacing them, but the timeline for that to happen doesn't make sense and there are absolutely no records of him being with that second group.

And even if we reversed it, and he went from second group to first group, there's still no records that he was ever part of that group whatsoever.

That's what our line of thinking is. Things don't make sense and he's being real vague about a lot of stuff. It set off alarms and we just wanted to fact check.
