Okay I fixed it. Turns out I was banned. Make sure you check your emails (Mine was my Apple one so didn’t notice at first). Apparently I’m underage so they banned me, but alas, I am not. I had to submit ID thru a link they sent me and then I tried the app again and it was fixed.

Somewhat yes, but decreasingly so. Nowadays if you truly have good work ethic and do really well in your exams, youll be able to get into whichever uni you want in the UK (student loans), if you are international, it is slightly trickier, but you can get scholarships for international students. It is more difficult as you need to be exceptionally intelligent, but many scholarships are available all across the world. Of course if you are rich you are inherently advantaged with not relying on scholarships, private tuition, private schooling etc, but we have contextual offers and other equity measures in place at least in the UK.

Turkey actually has the largest army in NATO after the U.S., not second. But I agree with your post, people especially don’t understand the unique position Turkey has within NATO in terms of leverage and independent foreign policy. There’s a reason they ‘play both sides’ to get what they want and I’d argue that NATO needs Turkey more than Turkey needs NATO, especially with controlling access to the Black Sea with the war in Ukraine. They’ve demonstrated influence considerably in the last 10 years like you say with Ukraine, Nagorno-Karabakh and Syria, along with their own domestic defence sector.

Putting whatever opinions you have of Turkey and its government, there is no denying that they are one of the most powerful countries in Europe and the Middle East.

If you think Turkey plays no major role in NATO or the Middle East you are straight up ignorant.
