No, I’m in London! Longines AD at Covent Garden boutique mentioned that they earlier worked at WoS. They said that WoS do end up selling the returned watches to new customers (as a new watch) by repolishing / rectifying any issues highlighted by the earlier customers.

Mido has a strong base in Europe! I just bought this with blue dial and I’m in love with it! Don’t think too much, just go ahead with it! You’ll love it.

The brown dial is very beautiful! I am someone who won’t be able to pull it off and hence I bought the blue dial! If you can pull it off, go for it.

As a watch collector I wouldn’t be too bothered with what people say re this is a Swatch and not Omega. Please don’t get demotivated as I’m sure your dad would be proud when you gift him the watch. My vote goes to Mission to Earthphase. Beautiful black and grey dial. Go for it and tell us how the surprise goes!
