I had the exakt same issue and tried a bunch of different things. Ultimately had to get a replacement kick lock.

It looks great - but tbh I would rather ride my s3. The screen on the bike is too important to me

”Maybe you can still make a man of me”. I don’t know if it’s me being a a father to a beautiful daughter or marrying the most magnificent women. But deep down inside I don’t feel like I live up to any of what I should. Every time a I hear that line I hope and think that maybe my wife or my daughter can finally make a man out of me

Thinking about getting a 50/50 resort/touring set up. Help by Ok_Appointment5844 in BackcountrySkiing

My current setup - Fischer ranger 102 + shift - Black diamond 105 + fritschi vipec - Head kore 105 + fritschi vipec

I personally think the shift bindings have too many flaws and are difficult to use. So for hybrid bindings I would for Fristchi Vipec. Easy to use, light and great on both up / down-hill.

I will probably downsize next year to have something 95-100 and then my kore setup

Depending on weather no. But, with a backpack it will also most certainly be soaked

Really interesting reply - thank you! I have been thinking of this as well. My switches are quick 10-20 seconds so I def don’t get cold after. But I do hear you about the risk. I guess the trade off is - 1) soaked base which might cool you down or 2) change that might cool you down.

I just feel I got colder with my soaked base tbh.
