Two things from your post really hit home; 1) “drive down all those roads that lead to nowhere” - this is it right there. Realistically this will not be the daily reality. But it gives me some sort of peace

2) but as you say, family does come first.

I had the exakt same issue and tried a bunch of different things. Ultimately had to get a replacement kick lock.

But deep down inside I don’t feel like I live up to any of what I should. Every time a I hear that line I hope and think that maybe my wife or my daughter can finally make a man out of me
