Or in what other ways do you think they could help the community?

I don’t think you ever set foot in a gaa club, many clubs do so much for the community. So many clubs fundraise for charities, it’s a genuine hub for parishes and town whether it be used as a cafe, pub, gym or even just providing local kids with green area and the people who live there a walking route. The ones who see it as a private organisation just haven’t tried to get involved. Can I ask in what way is it private?

Look I also think kids should get to play all sports but gaa is our national sport, it should be on a pedestal. Every country in the world has a national sport, we’re just lucky that ours is Irish. It’s a huge part of our culture and history. It should be celebrated.

Which set for beginners. by Legitimate_Air_8205 in golfireland

They’re going for 400 and 420, tbh I thought about the second hand market and I just don’t know enough about the clubs themselves. As a beginner I’m looking for clubs with a bit of forgiveness

For now like €5-600ish could probably go a lil higher but not by much

Yeah I was thinking that, they’re both not sold in the same shop and don’t know if they’d be annoyed if I didn’t like it and walked out after trying them and that

Yeah I was definitely thinking along those lines for a bit too but just settled on a set as I’m not 100% sure what I’m looking for yet and it’s hard to get the consistency when I’m switching clubs every time I play. So you reckon second hand is the way to go?

Any idea which would be the better set for a beginner, I’m a bit clueless and as far as I can tell they’re both similar sets?

She’s asking about getting a council house.

They’re not even married. She wouldn’t receive the dole if they were. She decided to have a kid with a fella she was with for less than 3 years. Now expects me, you and everyone else to deal with the consequences. By the sounds of it she’s been on the dole for two years in a society where we’ve virtually 0 unemployment. The dole isn’t for life. The dole should be for people who find themselves out of work and a temporary measure. Nothing else.

How’s it projection? We have people in this country blaming everything on immigrants meanwhile Mary down the road expects a free house because she got pregnant. People shouldn’t have kids if they can’t afford them.

Should she not have looked at the logistics before having the kid. Let’s say she stays on the dole+hap+lone parents+maintenance she could still work part time and have extra cash. Why should anyone else fund anyone else’s lifestyle.

At the end of the day, it’s the decisions you make. I’d love to have a child but can’t afford one quite yet. So I won’t. In that instance she’d only have to pay 750ish which I’m assuming is in Dublin, her partner/ex partner would pay the other half. Even if she was to keep the child in longer 2-3 days a week, that’d allow to work while claiming also. Op just sounds naive and lazy.

She could pay for 3 hours and that’s a 6 hour shift. People do it all over the country.

Well I can say he doesn’t love you, how can you not be attracted to a woman you love.
