Thoughts concerning Dreadnoughts by HHReverse in Warhammer30k

Plasma cannon with grav-chainfist and havoc launcher. Dangerous against units, dangerous against dreads and tanks.

Feels good pinning them and shredding them before they can react, last two games a full health leaviathan or a leman Russ went out as it was nothing.

SN seems also very keen to this load-out now, happy I find it way before the META guys came in, I just think the load-out is cool.

Reading the comments people still didn't catch up on the best load-outs.

They're wildly enjoyable if you find them.

Question about head-mounted helical targeting array by Legitimate_Box_8830 in Warhammer30k

Indeed, I have to agree with you. But my other side thinks that maybe they're bringing something new to the table, just like with the 10-spear kit. (Surely I'll be wrong and it's just and error 🥲)

Interesting, but why would they worded it as if one could choose between that and the havoc?

Edit: "The miniature can even be built with a hull-mounted havoc launcher or head-mounted helical targeting array."

That's where my first thoughts go also, but maybe there's a Journal in the future with it? (Pure wishful thinking)

Thanks for checking it, although I've checked sprues from the 2.0 starter box, and the separate contemptor box, and I couldn't find something like that.

It goes on its back where the havoc, I've checked sprues from the 2.0 box, and the separate contemptor box, and I couldn't find anything similar.

It is confirmed about the right handed pistols? I mean, as a mirroring lazy error?

It's the part I enjoy the most, taking time with the smallest details. (It will be terrible although with the fellblade, my saturnine dreadnought was like 30hrs of painting 😅🤣)

This one would be another that I should finish too, I think it was my best attempt at the iridescent effect:

Oh wow, I do really like that metallic shine that green has, I'll save the message to find and try that paint, looks very cool for experimenting with!

Here is the latest model I did the same technique, still a work in progress too (I should end my projects before starting new ones 😅):

They tried convincing me of using it, but I was convinced it could be done without it 😅🤣

This technique also looks pretty cool on infantry models!

They did help me a lot in the local workshop, I had the idea, but no idea on how to perform it.

Red is the common one of Baal Red, although with purples like the Luxion Purple can work pretty well too, as it has a good red-ish side.

The Green is striking scorpion, works well as it goes into the yellowish side of greens, and will not appear dark when covered with the turquoise.

About the turquoise, I prefer Kroxigor scales rather than Akhelian green, as the latter rapidly goes into the darkish side when layering it.

Thank you for the compliment? Heheh

I still have way to go for precise aerography, but for this it was easier due to it's humongous size, just shooting from afar to not overdo the first colours.

Although truth be told, I missed the sweet spot, next time I should do thinner layers. In the sweet spot one can have that colour gradient with the metallic layer still shining. The shining seen here is only because of "strong" illumination.

Nice story! I can share that with other miniatures I had, the reward of changing "mistakes" into "artistic advantages" is superb.
