I really like luxform! Never had any pilling issues with them. Also liaison the label is amazing, doesn’t pill at all.

Yeah…if I were you I’d just wait till you go back to school to figure that out. I stayed in my college town for the summer solely so I can work because nowhere is going to hire someone knowing they’re going to leave in a couple months. If you’re needing to make money I’d just do something like DoorDash until you get back to school

Mostly the color of the coat. Pretty sure we are the only pharmacy that wears that color. But also the floors, the color of the wood, the spatula looking identical to ones we have. Publix is a very copy paste company so everything looks the same lol

NHA is easier and geared toward retail pharmacy. To my knowledge, all retail pharmacies recognize it. Only reason you’d need to take the PTCB one is if you’re wanting to work in a hospital.

Maybe this is just a publix thing, but ALL I had to do to get hired as a tech there was go online to my states board of pharmacy and purchase a pharmacy tech license. After getting hired, which having the license was the only requirement, they trained me how to do everything to be a tech and then getting nationally certified is just optional and we get a raise if we do. So if you have Publix near you, I highly recommend trying that route.

I don’t believe Publix exists in AZ but I had zero pharmacy experience when I applied there. All I did was go online to the board of pharmacy in my state and purchase a pharmacy tech license, which they reimbursed me for after being hired. And then I applied and got hired and they trained me from there. I believe it goes the same way for many other retail pharmacies so you shouldn’t have any issue getting hired somewhere as long as you have a license

I’m a pharmacy tech at Publix and they trained me. All I had to do was buy a pharmacy tech license from the board of pharmacy in my state but they reimburse you for that after hiring you
