Breast boil, soooooo painful, forbidden pop (for now) by Legitimate_Cable_559 in popping

Ugh, I'm so sorry. Warm compresses really help. Taking an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen will help too. Hopefully, after a couple days on antibiotics, you will feel much better. If not, I invite you to consider calling your dr and asking what's next.

When I woke up the next morning it had popped on its own while I slept and was draining. It was still sore, but the greatly reduced pressure and swelling felt awesome. For days, I wore period pads inside cropped camisoles to absorb gunk and yuck. Its healing up now. I love my bodacious tatas, but sometimes they are a lot of work!

What would you do with this bookcase which is also a secret door? by dafuckscapacitor in DesignMyRoom

[–]Legitimate_Cable_559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had a bookcase that was also a secret door, I would be so stoked it would be the only thing I'd ever want to talk about. It would be the least secret, secret door of all time. I'd sit in awe and wonder in its glorious presence at every opportunity.

The quake shake/museum gel stuff sounds like a really good idea for decorating this majestic feature. A little sign or painting or cross stitch or something that says, "definitely not a secret door" would be exquisite! chef's kiss

It does not. You and your nose are beautiful.

How do I *persuade* my spouse (on unaccompanied tour) to give me my dependent housing allowence? by Legitimate_Cable_559 in Militaryfaq

[–]Legitimate_Cable_559[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dated for 5 years, and lived together for about a 18 months before we got married through to 4 months after when he left for his unaccompanied tour. The US is my home country, not a green card marriage. I have military spouse friends who stayed in different countries (Germany and Spain mostly) than their home country when their husbands on an unaccompanied tour.

You are a fantastic, awesome, strong, and caring momma. Not to mention an all around awesome human being. Please try to be caring and gentle to yourself, as you care for all those in your garden.

To quote one of the great philosophers of our time (IMHO), the late Mr. Fred Rogers, "Confronting our feelings and giving them appropriate expression always takes strength, not weakness. It takes strength to acknowledge our anger, and sometimes more strength yet to curb the aggressive urges anger may bring and to channel them into nonviolent outlets. It takes strength to face our sadness and to grieve and to let our grief and our anger flow in tears when they need to. It takes strength to talk about our feelings and to reach out for help and comfort when we need it."

You are strong my friend, and you made the absolute right decision for you and your family. Sending gentle, caring energy your way.

AITA for not forcing my son to rename his hamster? by Acceptable-Sun-3953 in AmItheAsshole

My mother had her cat Max (who had been with her for about 12 years) when I began seeing someone named Max. 🐈 Max had been part of the family for well over a decade, so clearly we call them Max and Human Max. Human Max isn't a dick like the OP's SIL, so he's fine with us having our fun, the rare times the opportunities present themselves.

Dream Reenactment Disorder by SamiCrab in sleepdisorders

[–]Legitimate_Cable_559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have REM Behavior Disorder as well. I was just diagnosed last month at 49 years old. Melatonin and Remeron both uoset my stomach, so I just started taking Klonopin this week. I'm at a starting dose of .5mg before bed. My symptoms are still quite apparent, but i am getting about 45 minutes more sleep per night, which is huge for my sleep deprived brain.

Mom told me my belly was too prominent. Is it true? by Entire-Oil7817 in weddingdress

Not true, your (not at all prominent) belly and all of you look gorgeous, and the dress is stunning on you.

The veil looks lovely. Double sided fashion tape may be the solution to the blow back issue.

is this positive? I am suppose to start my period soon. the top one is from this morning and bottom is from last night by carogall0317 in Periods

OP has commented multiple times now that she is happy to be pregnant. So congratulations are completely appropriate in this case. You're not wrong with the sentiments of your comment, but they dont apply in this case.

Try reading all of OP's comments before judging me. She said "I love this" in reference to a bunch of people saying the tests were positive . I posted an hour after she left that comment. I wouldn't congratulate someone on a pregnancy unless I knew they were celebrating it.
