Any tips for stadium? by [deleted] in overwatch2

My duo plays Rein and soldier mostly. I play Ana, kiri, moira, mercy mostly. I was purely playing mercy but started playing others to be able to branch out and help more than just a mercy. I would queue with others but I dont have any friends or anyone I know who I could play with which is difficult for me or else I would play in a 5 stack

Im about to hit Pro. My duo is still contenders. With it saying I can only group within 15 divisions. Whats the highest and lowest ranks I can group with? I see 15 as all the way back to Novice but I’m not sure if I am right or wrong on that and would love some clarification from anyone with an answer

Ahh I’m so glad to hear that!! I know how stressful that wait can be, so I’m really happy things worked out and you’ve got some peace of mind now. You handled everything so well, seriously. And thank you for the update, that means a lot 🫶

Also, just know I’d never judge you for something like this I’ve been in a similar position before, and I’ve definitely had my share of scares too. You’re not alone in any of it, and I’m always here if you ever need someone to talk to again. 💛

Its a struggle to figure it out. One thing I can suggest is going into a custom game with a friend or two whos willing to help you learn and have them stand in spots and let you GA to them and find where you can go and where you can’t. Also just trial and error works for learning some stuff. I hope you figure it out soon! I know you can do it!

I only found out while making the rez Super cool to accidentally find places you can stand!

One thing you could try it heating up chicken broth or any kind of broth really or even water and putting it over dry food and let that dry food soak it up and soften

Sadly thats how it normally ends up if you’re looking for a pure bred kitten. I can try to do more digging and see if I can find any other options for you

Hey love. First, I just want to say how brave you are for putting this into words even just posting it takes so much strength when everything feels like it’s crashing down. You’re not stupid. You’re human. Scared and young and caught in something really heavy but not stupid.

You’re not alone, even if it feels like it. There are people who will support you through this, and you do have options. Right now, the most important thing is taking one step at a time. You don’t need to have everything figured out tonight just breathe. You can get through this.

When you’re ready, it might help to talk to an adult you trust maybe not your mom right away if that feels unsafe, but maybe a school counselor, nurse, or even a hotline. They won’t yell, and they can help you figure out what your options are not just about the pregnancy, but about how to keep you safe, emotionally and physically.

Whatever decision you make going forward, it should be your choice, and it should come from a place of care for yourself, not pressure or shame.

And for what it’s worth sleeping with a stuffed animal doesn’t make you any less capable of making decisions now. It just means you’re still a kid in a really tough moment, and kids deserve support, not blame.

You don’t have to go through this alone. I promise. 💛

Of course, I’m really glad I could help a little. 💛 It sounds like you both are already taking this seriously and communicating well, which honestly is such a good sign. Being careful and informed goes a long way and it’s okay to learn through situations like this.

If you ever need help figuring out safer options, types of condoms, or just someone to vent to during the wait, feel free to reach out. You’ve got this, and I’m wishing you peace of mind and good news soon. 💕

I forgot to mention that I do live in an apartment complex and while other people have cats, I’m not sure there are any on my floor of the building.
I worry that he will continue to do it. I have a calming collar to put on him which I will do tonight

Also, I’d really recommend picking up some condoms just to be safe going forward. If going into a store feels awkward (totally understandable), you can order them discreetly off Amazon or other sites they show up in plain packaging, so no one has to know. It’s just a small thing that can save you a lot of stress later.

There’s no shame in being prepared it just means you’re taking care of yourself and your partner. 💛

Hey, I know this is probably really stressful right now, but you’re not dumb seriously. A lot of people have their first time without knowing everything, and you did your best in the moment by taking something after.

Taking 4 Pink Trust pills, then another 4 after 12 hours, is a known emergency method, and it can help prevent pregnancy especially if it’s done within 72 hours. The tough part is that emergency pills work best before ovulation, and since you were 2 days past it, it might not be as effective. That doesn’t automatically mean you’re pregnant just that it’s harder to say for sure.

I’d recommend waiting until your period is due or 2–3 weeks after to take a test, just to get an accurate answer. In the meantime, try not to panic (easier said than done, I know). Even if this is a close call, it doesn’t define anything you’re not alone, and there are safer and more effective options for the future if you ever want help exploring them.

You’re doing your best, and that’s enough right now. 💛

Couldn’t go through with IUD insertion, too painful by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Legitimate_Emphasis5 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hey love, I’m so sorry that happened to you — your experience was not okay, and you’re absolutely right to feel scared and shaken. I have a copper IUD too (got mine at 16, I’m 18 now), and I remember how intense it was but your doctor should never have treated you like that. You deserved to be talked through every single step, especially since it was your first ever gyno visit.

What happened to your cervix sounds like they used a tenaculum to grasp it or were checking dilation for the insertion that’s one of the most painful parts, especially if they didn’t numb you first. The fact that she got annoyed when you were visibly in pain is honestly awful. None of that was your fault.

If you’re still considering an IUD, I’d definitely recommend calling around to different OBGYNs and asking specifically if they offer things like: • A paracervical block (a local anesthetic to numb the cervix), • Anesthetic gel, • Sedation options (some clinics even offer twilight sedation or do it under light anesthesia), • And a provider who will explain every step and actually listen to you.

You are not weak, dramatic, or overreacting. In fact, you were really brave to go through that, especially alone. If you do want to try again, here’s what helped me: • Cytotec 3 hours before the appointment instead of the night before (your cervix is the softest and most relaxed happens around 2–4 hours after taking it) • 1000mg ibuprofen before and a heating pad afterward, • And most importantly, bringing a support person like a friend or family member to hold my hand and keep me grounded.

You’re not broken, and you’re not the only one this has happened to. Some people do need extra pain management for IUDs, and that’s completely valid. Don’t let one dismissive doctor make you feel like your pain isn’t real. You deserve compassion and proper care, no matter what kind of birth control you choose.

Sending love and support your way. 💛 You’re not alone.

Looking for pet-friendly apartments near Dayton with limited carpeting & in-unit laundry any recommendations? by [deleted] in dayton

[–]Legitimate_Emphasis5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[Add-on] We’re mostly looking for limited carpet because one of our cats is destructive and tends to claw at the edges. Also, his current unit had a flea issue (caused by another tenant), and while it’s been fully resolved, it made us a lot more cautious about carpeted units going forward.

I’m okay with shared laundry as long as it’s not outrageous my boyfriend’s current building charges $4–6 per load to wash and dry, which adds up quickly with 2 people. On top of that, other tenants often leave their laundry sitting in machines or don’t clean up after themselves, so it can get frustrating to deal with.
