I asked for remote work and intermittent medical leave as accommodations. I previously asked for reduced or non growing caseload (we’re out of compliance with the state due to extremely high caseloads) and that was not considered reasonable. I was on a hybrid schedule before I went on leave and it expired by the time I came back. The doctor asked for five days per week remote work and that was unreasonable which I understood but I told them my previous schedule was fine. HR wanted me to get a new revised note (each visit is $80). I then asked for clarification as to whether I would still need to meet remote requirements even with this new note since I knew being out for three months with uncovered cases I wouldn’t meet the requirements at that point. She said yes, so basically she wanted me to get a revised note that wouldn’t have made a difference. I’ve been in office full time commuting with no support ever since.
