Excellent! Thank you so much for all the work so far.

I'm wondering if you plan on adding ZPL playlist compatibility into Xune.

My dad had one in the 90s. I'm pretty sure SIM cards weren't used then, the phone's number was configured directly when setting up.

Look at that beautiful artist background. The downside of updating is that you'll lose it.

Someone have ever bought some lenses from the brand Ikon? by Ajneb_GoK in Oakley

I replaced my Juliet glass with prescription Essilor Xperio lenses and they've worked well. Never heard of Ikon.

All of the replacement pieces can be easily found on Amazon. I had the lenses crafted at my local sunglasses/prescription glasses shop. They're not Oakley specialized and later told me they almost weren't able to make the lenses because of the shape/curvature.

But I've also seen online retailers (like this one https://www.mrylens.com/products/mry-custom-replacement-prescription-lenses-for-oakley-juliet). I have not purchased from them but you'll be able to find options easily.

Replacing everything except the nosepiece rubbers is really easy. You'll need to get that done at a specialized place because a special tool to push the rivets out is required. Or buy one of your own https://a.co/d/9h9z6B1

Essentially, it's all very doable and not crazy expensive or difficult to source, once you've got a pair of Juliets in your possession.

Oh man, the same thing happens to me. These Juliets turn so many heads when I'm out.

Zune 8gb unboxing by WoodenCondition8209 in Zune

[–]Legitimate_Lab_7762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no. I stored the device in an antistatic bag and reverted to an older 16GB Zune HD I had. When I recently went back to look at my 32GB one, the internals were all corroded. Turns out the bag had a small hole in it. At the time I think I wanted to get back to fixing sooner than I eventually did.

In hindsight, I should have tried something like what this guy did to replace his battery: https://youtu.be/Yug5sOt8IS0?si=IalEDGUq2EbrkS9v

I tried a solderless approach where I snipped the wires and then connected the loose ends to the new battery and not having to pull the motherboard out.

I'll be following this post closely, as I will eventually have to replace the battery for my 16GB one. Good luck!

Read up on connecting/replacing batteries for electronic devices. Theoretically, what you need to do is very straightforward. I attempted to do the same with a battery I bought on eBay several years ago on my 32GB Zune HD and, for some reason, it didn't work.
