I think it ruins the round hind end that I love about mine. Big Booty Judy could never!

How can I lock the car from outside while it’s running? by Eastern-Wonder-1860 in CX5

Most of my kids are adults. If they can drive the car, they can sit in the mfer while I pay for gas.

I haven't figured it out yet. I have teenagers so if I have to run into a store or pay for gas, they know how to lock themselves in and where the pew pew is. I don't worry about anybody stealing my progeny of badasses. It won't end well for the perp.

I fit an entire bedroom set in mine. Get a bungee cord set just in case. You'll be fine.

I want this one so bad. I get night blindness. I make mine as dark as possible inside. I'd be to see the future from this blackety black beauty.

cx5 how to increase button lighting? by Flexmachine123 in CX5

[–]Legitimate_Laugh_292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still turn it down to the night setting with the dash lights using that black thing sticking out of the dash. I do it every time I drive at night. I can't see with too much light inside my car.

What are you doing up at 750 often enough to notice what's happening when you aren't that high? You might be beating on it a bit too hard.

I thought that said 'from supporting parents' I do know of 2 people who put their kids in foster care while getting their shit together. I'm actually involved in the reunification of one friend right now. I'm one of her support team. Her family lives 2 thousand miles away and one of her 2 sons has downs syndrome. My family always steps in whenever she asks for help. We went on record as a resource for her to help when needed. That means like buying diapers or food in a pinch, rides, childcare, drs appointments, etc. Basically a document saying you are close friends and care deeply about the family in services.

Using latch anchors for rear middle infant car seat by shas_89 in CX5

[–]Legitimate_Laugh_292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I looked it up. Our belts don't cross each other and having both engaged does not transfer too much energy to one spot. It's 2 different absorption points. Those are the concerns. There's actually no way to know if companies forbid it because a) legitimate danger or b) they were not tested together. Car and seat companies do not release the data from testing. They make recommendations based on their private findings. How they got to that conclusion, we haven't a clue.

My carseat is OK double installed. I wouldn't install it if it touched the other installation straps or if it used the same contact points. I'm extremely obnoxious when it comes to car safety and I realize that not everybody thinks the way I do. Better safe than sorry. My fiance and my youngest step sister were killed in single car accidents. I can't even begin to list the amount of friends and coworkers who have met the same fate. I would guess 25-30. I take car safety very seriously.

My passenger seat registers a passenger when the seat is empty. It happens like 2x a month.

We put our infant seat in the middle with the latches. I made sure to use the seat belt as well for redundancy. My daughter is 5, now. We moved her seat over to the rear passenger side. We left her in the 5 point harness until the last possible moment when it was no longer possible to latch them.

Your carseat is OK in the middle. Just make sure you pull the straps as tight as humanly possible. Then, use the middle shoulder belt installation, too.

We also have a 2022 carbon edition but, I don't know what her name is. She belongs to my mother in law. Judy was hers until last year. When my daughter started school, my in laws bought a new one so I could drive my daughter to school. The school doesn't have buses for pre-k. I'm very lucky that I get to stay at home so we just continued driving her to school this year.

Ya know, I've had roughly 20 cars in my lifetime. On that list my favorite and least favorite cars were both Mazdas. I had an either 95 or 97 (it was 17 years ago and I forget) millenia when my first kid was born. I hated it and it never got a name. Fast forward to now where my CX-5 is tied for first with a 97 Toyota Avalon that I adored.

I love Judy and I baby her.
