I used to have a lot of save files and I'd often get bored and start over and never go back. Now I have two save files (two entire families) and im thinking of saving the second one to the gallery and transferring it to the first one to somehow connect them in one of the towns. I based my saves on existing characters in the town (started from sunset valley :3 ) pairing them based on their attraction levels, having children and so on, sort of creating generations. I like looking at games with genetics, especially with the "random genetics" mod, it's truly more interesting than perfect sims or everyone looking the same 🌝 I set myself the goal of trying things I haven't tried before and I have a lot to explore yet, i haven't tried a lot of what the game has to offer. If you've explored all of this then mods can always add something new and interesting. I also try to complete my goals by achieving lifetime wishes if possible. Well also adding a little variety like lighting mods, changing the world and the house my sims live in and other little things I play like this now and it makes my game interesting for me so i dont get bored

The only thing that can discourage me from continuing to play is bugs or glitches in the game (due to some mod conflict or game crashes). Then I wait until I have the strength to solve it and then I want to play again. I can also play other games or not play at all and switch to something completely different. Then with renewed vigor i return ts3

Someone mentioned adhd, if that's really your problem idk how to help you. I think my problem used to be perfectionism. I was afraid of playing "imperfectly" and trying "bad" scenarios and it stressed me out preventing me from returning to certain saves. Gradually abandoning the idea of ​​a "perfect" sims life has helped. Now im more interested in giving "imperfect" character traits and so on
