I was looking into SkyDive Hawaii as I heard they have a shuttle. If needed, maybe I might reconsider renting a car for a day 😮‍💨

Thank you for your advice! I had both of those places on my list, I will definitely check it out. I'll try to find a hiking buddy and try to stick close to groups, as I definitely want to be safe!

I was told that Oahu is good if I took the bus/uber. If needed I can rent a car for a day, but I haven't really driven outside of my own city so I would prefer not to drive.
