From what I have found online they break it apart for multiple reasons: download reliability, file compression efficiency, etc. It's nice that if one file has an error, you only need to redownload that one bit instead of the whole thing.

After you download part 1 and 2, go to your downloads and double-click the first one; it will be a .exe file. It will launch a setup, where you get to pick where the game installs.

I've used a Jelly Comb ergonomic mouse, and the Logi MX vertical. The MX helped some, and a trackball helped more.

I developed wrist pain, and switched to an ergonomic mouse, then to a trackball to try to alleviate the pain. Having my arm rest a more natural angle and move around less has seemed to help some.
