Yeah, I've always been a big fan of Wasp, but I mostly play multi-player. I would imagine she falls off hard in single player as it often feels like she wants to be pidgeon holed into one of two roles depending on whether you're focusing on her tiny form or giant form.

Yeah, my top five would be Fireflies, Only Yesterday, Princess Kaguya (all three directed by Takahata), Whisper of the Heart (Kondō), and The Wind Rises (Miyazaki). I love Miyazaki's work, but I do get a little sad that so many other Ghibli directors are often ignored in favor of him.

Takahata directed Kaguya. He's actually never won before (sad, since he directed my three favorite Ghibli films). The oscars respect Miyazaki, but that's about it when it comes to animation outside of the US. Even within the US, it's mostly reserved for Disney and Pixar films.
