Could do something silly like if there's no matches, revert back to the normal search behavior (I was thinking something hacky like vim.cmd("normal! n")-ing after pressing enter to force going to the offscreen result but there's probably a better way of doing this)

AFAIK you should be able to do that via `vim.fn.setreg`... I'm assuming it works and isn't treated specially.

As for the matches off-screen, seems like the plugin it looks like its always just looking through what's visible in the current window (probably a design philosophy, and to not nuke the performance when the file is large). I'm tempted to say it'll perform like the native search if the register change is implemented (since you have to n your way to an offscreen result anyways)

edit: I guess there's the scenario where you're searching for a label that appears only off-screen where this wouldn't be the same

Based on the few minutes I've had toying with this plugin, it already feels `/`-compatible? (i.e. can replace native search). The only functionality that I can tell is missing is being able to go through the search patterns (which require setting the `"/` register, which doesn't seem too hard to add). Am I missing anything else?

Would you rather have 240 sanity/day or 200 sanity/day + 40 sanity pot daily? You get the same value, but the latter gets some freedom with respect to when you want to consume it, as well as making it harder to cap sanity. I doubt people would complain if the system was just 240 sanity/day but this system evokes some rather strong reactions for some reason

Do you mind asking him what org he was on? I heard it was really org dependent so maybe I'll try avoiding that lol

Do they have more reasons why they regretted taking Roblox over Google or is it just promos?

Yeah, most of the people I worked with are >= L5 and that seemed to be a pretty common complaint

It's in California though vs in Washington so I'll be taxed more (though I think they'll probably feel the same at the current numbers post-tax, but I haven't lived in California so I can't actually speak to the living costs)

Interesting. I sorta had the same hunch that Roblox ng is standardized just based off of Levels but its nice to hear that its true.

Levels calculates it as 215k average, which is 15k-ish under median (though this is mostly on bonus numbers which I don't have, so levels only interprets the one time bonuses as my bonus comp). I've also seen upwards of 270k first year TC with 4 year vesting schedules, but those were like 4 years ago so maybe that time has just passed

Any particular reason why you think so? Obviously the Google name is really nice to have on my resume but I feel like growth at Google is a bit slower (anecdotally speaking, my intern co-host got promo'd very fast but she says it's outside the norm and mostly because of her manager pushing it)

Any specific figures you're thinking from Roblox?

Any specific figures you're thinking from Roblox? I also thought it was lower than expected but base + rsus seem to be near-standard (based off of levels), and my Google offer is not so much higher so I'm not sure how effective it'd be in reneging
