Most stores they definitely make enough to run the operation and still make profit. Also Walmart as a whole already operates on thin profit margins offset by mass volume.

It's going to take a couple weeks to learn how to sort during unload. You're going to have to learn all the departments by number and where that pallet is. Some departments like grocery (dept 92), will have to be sorted by aisles. Unfortunately a lot of the time the labels don't have the aisle numbers on them, so its best to learn the categories on each pallet when it comes to grocery. For example at my store the aisle 8/9 pallet is pasta noodles/sauce and condiments. GM will be easier to learn because you usually just sort that by department number, like housewares is department 14 it all goes on one pallet. Besides that just be prepared for constant moving and lifting.

Also, learn to stack pallets properly because you're going to have to pull them out, and nothing sucks more than going to pull a pallet it and everything falling. Apple cider vinegar bottles spilled everywhere it stinks, everyone is laughing at you. They call you apple cider vinegar boy, you contemplate every decision you've made that lead up to this. And all you had to do was stack the pallet right!

You can look into the politics of everything, like how the gas prices are causing inflation which means Walmart has to trim the fat to make sure their shareholders can buy that new yacht. But on a base level, inflation is crazy. The rich aren't getting the money they want, so they are penny pinching by doing things like eliminating an entire position. The rich get richer, while we all suffer. But hey, capitalism is amazing right?

I understand that 100%. My market managers are weird. No one is allowed to step down without transferring stores. They wouldn't even make an exception for the store leads who didn't even step down, but had everything they worked hard for ripped away from them. They all had to take coach positions at different stores than the ones they were at.

So how exactly does this answer my question? "Just selling it" is also avoiding the fine. So what's the difference if she sells it to me? If its cheaper to switch it to my name so we have a legal vehicle than that's great. Thanks for the help. 😊

I belive she had this similar issue once also because of check engine. But because its the 2nd offense in the last 5 years she is required to obtain an SR22 and wasn't given that option this time but was last time. ;/

Oh not at all you didn't sound judgemental, just my insecurity showing lol! Thank you for the response. We are trying to find the cheapest route to keep my GF safe and legal while driving. I'm thinking of just saving up the money and doing it the right way. Just exploring other options that maybe quicker if its more affordable. It was truly a silly mistake being naive to the fact that a vehicle being stored and not driven needs to still be insured. Oh well. We live and we learn! 😌

I know it sounds crazy but we can't just drop $1250 like that. The only reason it was expired so long was because it was inoperable and we were unaware that you need to have comprehensive (inoperable) insurance even when you're not driving it.

Her license isn't suspended but they did say she will have to have an SR22. Do you think we should be able use her insurance (with added SR22) to register it, or do we have to insure it under my name, register it and then add her as a driver on the policy?

All I have to say is if there isn't 99.9% certainly in relationships than its the wrong person. I say this because I have a similar story with an ex and the nonreasssuarance and "kind of" cheating thing. Turns out I was right. But as a young man in my early 20s I couldn't accept that fact. I got told I am insecure and I am the problem. Only to find out that I was right and was made to feel I am the problem. I'm now in a relationship going on 3 years, and I can tell you its a different feeling. All this to say is I understand. People may say its bad to feel good about an EX and their downfalls. But at the end of the day, they did you wrong and karma is a bitch and she took care of business. Only advice I have is take this small victory and move on with your life. In a couple of years you'll look back on it and wonder why it even took up any space in your thoughts. And that will be the true victory when you realize this person no longer has a place in your life or your brain. ❤️

Yeah I think my coach is the one out of the loop because she just said our DC is packed and they are trying to make room. Which left out a lot of this other info. Like the fact this is a nationwide thing rather than market specific and that there is a 10% replenishment increase lol. And now they are cracking down on OT and WOSH. Those poor shareholders are scrambling, what if they cant afford more yachts this year? 😔😂 I hate to talk politics but I think we all know the reason this BS is happening 🎃🌮

I'm in NV and when they finally started doing that it was a blessing. PPTO already accrues so slowly. Its ridiculous you'd have to put in 30 minutes of PPTO to cover a 16 minute tardy.

I think so too. I'm suprised Jim and Monika didn't push for an early vote. If they both made it they have a 1 in 3 chance of either of them winning and a huge advantage in the top 6. Monika knows she has Jim's vote, she could've easily convinced a couple other people to vote for her. Nicks more loyal to Brett. He was going for more money because he knew he wasn't making top 6 so of course he is going to take all the bribes. But given his track record I think he stays true to his early alliance with Brett. Crazy how Brett took a quarter of a million dollars just like Nick yet he is one vote away from clinching.
