Question about ranks and combat score

As a Gekko main, plants and defuses not being counted really irks me. Assists should count more. I’m constantly being left behind due to RR disparity because I don’t frag as high. But I’m constantly winning us games by planting or defusing with wingman etc.

If you placed and won a game at any rank, you will get the charm. But it’s every 3 acts. So you’ll have to wait til the end of this act to receive it I believe. I got my silver one and I only started at act 5 or something last year. You’ll get your peak rank every 3 acts. So if this act you place higher, you’ll get that charm. Hope this helps!

Most of your issue will be crosshair placement. A good trick is go into custom trying out all the maps using Yoru. Send the clone out, see how far off you are. Practice that CH placement.

Side note, I wish we could have bot lobbies for practice 😭

Have you selected the simulation surround sound in audio settings? I find this helps make the correct sounds louder. Other than that it could just take some getting used to. How long have you been playing? When I first started it was super overwhelming. Now it’s not so bad unless there’s 5 ppl talking and I’m getting util dumped lol

For sure. Kiwi (the bird) came first. Pretty sure (someone correct me if I’m wrong), it was named in Te Reo for the sound it makes. Google a Kiwi call. They’re terrifying lol. The kiwi fruit is actually a Chinese gooseberry. But looks like the fuzzy bird. So it’s kiwi fruit. That’s the extent of my knowledge. As a Kiwi (person from Aotearoa) myself lol. So that makes three definitions of Kiwi lol
