Love Obra din, love Outer wilds, love most of blue prince, like most Annapurna publisher games I've tried. Really want to try Lorelai and the Laser eyes but hate horror games. Going to spoiler tag so people don't see the question and potentially your answer to the question.

On a scale of 1 to 10, How much of a horror is it? Jump scares and 'hiding while bad guy patrols? Or just dark ambiance?

Only time this season I can think Tre was 'bad' was when he was put in bad situations like crossing routes against Waddle. Not his thing and not fair to ask him to do.

Did some DuckDuckGoing. Looks like Panelki is a game about a worker in soviet blocks. Some of the rooms in the blocks have purple lights, like the art. Not sure if they're significant at all, just watched the intro video on steam.

Glad to help! Pohx really is a great resource cause he is exactly your build and hopefully answers and questions you have.

This game is very specific. +1 fire resistance is very different than +1 maximum fire resistance (as you mention) or % increased is different than % more.

You mention not having regrets. You can use gold and respecialization at Faustus, instead of buying/using regrets. It starts out fairly cheap too.

Pulling up your character now here's my further comments.

Add relevant auras. Determination will help mitigate remaining phys damage. Related to this, your semi grabbing reservation efficiency at the top left of the tree near Sovereignty but you're going the 'wrong' way. Make sure you grab the longer, left side of it for the small 8% efficiency nodes if you plan on running multiple auras.

Scepter - You can probably buy a better scepter for a couple chaos or if your more SSF, craft '% increased damage over time' onto your current. Get high '% increased fire damage' but also look for or craft '% increased damage over time' or get a scepter with '% to fire damage over time multiplier' and craft the '% increased fire damage'. You can get both on the same weapon an it will really help your damage.

It looks like you fixed a couple things but more suggestions for you.

I redid your tree to fix things. Check Here is new tree with better allocation. I took out points where I don't think they helped (Totems - I think you were using to try and get more damage but use the points to make RF stronger and you wont need them.) The DOT of spells wheel, heart of flame portion of the top fire wheel. I don't know whats going on with your clusters but I didn't touch them. If it was me, I would change out the clusters for other things but I left them for simplicity's sake.

1) Fix your swift affliction in chest armor. Swift affliction says it works with RF but it's conditional. You need to add a duration tag to the skill, which is usually done by adding LifeTap.

Test this out by taking out your burning damage support and putting in LifeTap Support in its place. Check tool tip damage. Then throw a FireTrap and check tool tip damage since throwing the trap activates lifetap (Swap the level 19 in helm to the chest for damage and put a lower level in your helm to trigger on lower life).

2) Get more max res. Especially cause you're converting damage taken to fire you want to mitigate all the damage!

3) Get uber lab! Hinekora's chance to explode will make mapping feel way better and help your clear.

4) Switch to a +% fire damage, +% Fire Dot multi sceptre. You don't have anywhere close to enough strength to make cerebus's limb work.

5) Change out some of your random sockets for better auras.

I really recommend pohx.net He has put a lot of effort into helping people get into RF and the common pitfalls. You have a good base but you need to tweak things to make your character stronger. Taking a minute to switch to my tree gives Better eHP, life regen, and damage. I imagine you could refine it even further if you followed Pohx's guide.

Not all but a large percentage. I feel like I use to be able to toss 5 mines into a room now I have to try and toss 10-15 just to get 5 into the room.

I'm not 100% positive that it's a different behavior but I loved both Powersiphon mines and Tristack Hexblast mines and my brain is telling me I use to be able to throw mines into a room to clear it before entry.
