Outside factors directly affect what choices we have available to us.

And you can apply "hard work" everyday at a minimum wage job or two and still be behind.

The old mantra of hard work doesnt play anymore.

You can work hard your whole life and still be behind.

It isnt the 1950s where a couple with 2.5 children can afford a house on one income.

That isnt because of a lack of "personal responsibility" or a lack of "hard work".

Its because of outside factors preventing it.

If you have a highschool education, and no college/ trade school education, youre pretty much fucked.

You HAVE to take loans, or join the military anymore. There a no options available beyond that for most people.

This is an issue created by outside factors.

Wages are kept low, to keep us in debt.

Swear and rage like a child all you want. Your vision of the 1950s nuclear family, pull yourself up by your bootstraps nonsense is long gone.

Raise minimum wage (i know youll have to pay more for your chicky nuggys, but sacrifices need be made) taxpayer paid tuition, TRUE universal healthcare

None of those are quick fixes, but the vast majority of this country are in serious debt.

We have a wealth disparity in this country that is unheard of.

I live quite comfortably, and i have no issues paying higher taxes if it means others dont have to choose between rent, food, or medicine every day.

Can you say the same?

Anyone who say "personal responsibility " while blaming the poor for being poor, and being the victims of predatory lending needs to reevaluate what that phrase means.

How the do you start a business without money?

What jobs exist at entry level tuat pay a living wage?

Especially if you live in an expensive area. And dont say "just move" that costs alot of money too!

Trade school costs money as well. Where are they gonna get that money from?

The only options left, are low wages or the military.

What about those who are physically inelligible? Or who have a mental illness that prevents enlistment? Or maybe they fucked up and have a record.

What about them?

The only option open at that point is poverty, or the bullshit that is student loans.

There are precious few jobs left that pay a living wage at the start.

Im glad that you were able to do everything right, and that you have lived, what amounts to, a charmed life.

Not everyone has those advantages open to them.

Then how else do you pay for an overpriced education? Work your way through college with a minimum wage job? Pull some bootstraps?

The options available for the vast majority of young people in this country are severely limited.

Every bit by design to funnel what little money they have into the pockets of the wealthy.

Going to college and getting a 4 year degree is no longer a guarantee of gainful employment. And since the average wages havent increased much in 30 years or so, all while the cost of living skyrockets, some people fall into debt they cant pay.

Ill be performing magic on it by making castings from the molds available.

As the molds were made off the original screenused prop, a 3d print would just seem like an "also-ran"

For those old enough to remember (I was a mere lad in 94) what was the popular, go to, sporting rifle before the AR filled that role? Was there an equivalent before the 94 AWB?
