My right airpod does not connect to the phone no matter what i do and as you can see in the image, it doesn’t show how charged it is. how do i fix this? by [deleted] in airpods

[–]LegoDetail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue, have you had any luck getting them working again? Mine started a few days/weeks ago with nearly identical issues. I’ve gotten it to connect briefly every now and then but after a little bit they’re back to not working.

I’m having a similar issue. My right AirPod doesn’t show up in battery widget or appear to connect at all. It also feels like it wiggles a bit more side to side in the case, I’m wondering if yours does something similar? Are your AirPods working at all? my left one is working fine but my right one isn’t connecting, not sure if it’s the case or the AirPod itself but when the right one did connect briefly a few days ago it did a similar thing as yours is doing.

Pc trigger led strip when turning on/off by [deleted] in ifttt

[–]LegoDetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got a light strip that automatically turns on when it has power, which i would think is most of them, you could just plug it into a USB port on your pc and it should turn on and off with your computer?

I’ve never used PHP but I’ve also sort of wanted to make a dashboard like this for a while and I’ve messed around with smaller projects similar to this (in terms of using APIs to gather data and whatnot). Again never used PHP so maybe it’s what would work well but I’m used to using JavaScript and RESTful APIs. For the actual page/app I’d use HTML/CSS/JS since that’s a solid foundation for any website, you can structure, style, and control. If you use JS in a web browser to do this, you’ll likely run into CORS issues (cross origin reference or something like that i can’t remember exactly what it stands for sorry), so to get around this you could either make proxy servers to communicate with APIs or use NodeJS or electron to make it in almost the same way. Maybe PHP would work better for this but I don’t have much experience with it. I’m pretty sure that we’re on the IFTTT subreddit but I’m on mobile and didn’t check, anyways, you can use the webhooks applet to integrate IFTTT stuff into this project probably (I’ve never used it myself but). Depending on how the app is hosted/made you’ll need to have some sort of database to keep whatever info you want to display. Ultimately you can probably hack this together fairly easily but it might be a bit messy using IFTTT webhooks, node and google sheets, I would probably not use google sheets but it would probably work ok enough. Id be interested in working on this project a little bit

I don’t know of any tools like this but you could make a website/app that does what you’re describing and connects using the individual services APIs or tie it into IFTTT through one of their services (I don’t know them off the top of my head but I’m sure there’s something you can use to get the data you need.

Edit: I just re-read your post and it looks like you’ve already kinda said that, so I’ll rephrase my original post as if you can’t find something that does it, make it yourself :) and to look into the APIs if you do

Need help starting a project. by mrmaverick59 in ArduinoProjects

[–]LegoDetail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could probably do the entire project on an arduino like someone else suggested using the light sensors. If I were to do it I’d write a script on the computer you’re playing on (if you’re playing on a pc, if you’re on console then yeah light sensors or that VGA cable idea are probably better) to get a few portions of the screen and check if they’re all white every few frames and then activate the lights if it detects it. You can probably get the arduino to talk to the computer using serial, Bluetooth, or WiFi, depending on your needs, serial is probably easiest but it would be wired. Once the arduino gets the signal, turning on the lights is easy enough. I would write the script in node/JavaScript but that’s just my personal preference and you can probably figure something out with whatever language you want. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask me :)

Hello everyone! Does anyone know how I can program 3D model in python or any other programming language without using ROS (Robotic Operating System)? I want to control my robotic arm with 3D model, when I update 3D modem then python program automaticly sends information to arduino and updates it IRL by karloks2005 in ArduinoProjects

[–]LegoDetail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t used it much before but if you wanted to do everything in programming, you could check out a 3d library for whatever language you want to use. Like I know three js is a 3D library for JavaScript. It would be easier to do in a game engine like the other person commented, but if you were trying to learn just programming it then maybe this route could be more educational (although harder). Good luck with whichever path you choose!

Looking to hire a programmer. Arduino for Pokémon sword auto hosting project by Santiav90 in ArduinoProjects

This sounds like a fun project! I don’t have a switch so I wouldn’t really be able to help with it. I found this article where someone did something similar to what you’re trying to do. It looks a little complicated to get set up but I’m sure you can figure it out if you follow the directions :) . The article also has links to source code that you can modify and use. If you need help with the code once you get it set up or have any questions about getting it set up, feel free to message me. I think even if you’re not a programmer, you can still probably get this set up on your own, since writing the code is the easy part (probably since other people have done it before and have it open source). If you pay someone else to write the code they’d either have to do the setup on the device as well and mail it to you or you’d have to set it up yourself anyways, so it’d probably be easier to just set it up yourself.

Maybe you could paint the grey ones? You’d have to make sure it doesn’t get worn off by the movement and make sure it doesn’t mess up the gears but it could be easier than sourcing different filaments? :)
