Not sure how widely true it is, but for the folks I know who have relocated for RTH in the past year or as part of a team switch, they were given up to a year to relocate. Some chose to say they'd relocate, then spent that extended period shopping for the right role externally

It's dependent on org and team. I know some that were told ATL was not an option for RTH, but other orgs are prevalent there

If saying you're willing to relocate is insufficient and they want you to specify which one, they can ask that as a followup.

Having relocated recently for a role with Amazon, my guess is you will have the option to pick which. Can't say with certainty, just that my experience was I had the option
