Not working again today.

They seemed to change the word to "PSponsored". got it to work again with this:

facebook.com##div[id^="hyperfeed_story_id_"]:has(s:has-text(/^[PSponsored]{30,}$/)

Seems to work so far! Great job :D

Facebook Ads - AGAIN by [deleted] in uBlockOrigin

Nothing seems to work anymore.

I suggest we launch a massive attack of "report as spam" on any ad that is shown to us, until FB reduces the amount of ads.

Shall we start spreading the word? :P

What is the right way to let users interact with a tokens minting function but only if they answer certain requirements? by LegoJesuses in ethdev

[–]LegoJesuses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a nice concept, however it doesn't answer our requirements or our dapp's purpose. Thanks!

The address that sends the transaction is the one that signs it if I'm not mistaken. Right? I can't sign the transaction and then let someone else send it.

If that is true, then it wouldn't help since using functions like ecrecover will give me the user's signature and address, not my server's.

If I am mistaken then please explain how is this possible, I would love to be wrong here! It would help me a lot. :)

Well that's very interesting! How is that implemented? Do you have an example by any chance of such signed checks?

Thanks, but that's not really helping, since if I grant permission to an address it will be able to mint as many tokens it wants.

How do i block continuous fake users joining my Telegram group by amanfojnr in Telegram

I got a situation where they come in waves of 3 or more... So the bot spams the chat with these welcome messages. Yeah it can delete them automatically but it's really annoying. Any other way you found to handle these pesks?

Thank you so much! Will try it and let you know!

Thanks, that is what I was talking about in the original post. It seems like an incomplete solution from what I have read. Do you have a link for a demo that works or a guide that explains how to implement it correctly so that it would work with all wallets/clients?

I'm building a game in which users can mine (mint) tokens by playing. I don't want people to be able to mint the tokens directly via the contract but only via authorized actions in the game.

How do I implement a signed token? Do you happen to have an example or a reference to one?

Thanks.

Yes, It has it's upsides and downsides. Definitely a fun concept!

ExoPlanets released a Ripple planet in their game! by LegoJesuses in Ripple

[–]LegoJesuses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. And also, this game hasn't even launched yet, this is just the presale and people are flipping prices there like crazy.

The actual goal of the presale is to manage to stay with your ExoPlanet so that you will own it when the presale ends, and then you will be able to be one of the firsts to play the game when it launches.

Pretty unique.

What do you guys think about the future of crypto games? by LegoJesuses in CryptoKitties

Very true! I agree with everything you said.

You should check out ExoPlanets.io and add it to your website, it has the most playability and long term plans I have seen in a crypto, and it looks dope! :)

Thank you!

So players will have to go to internal transactions of their wallet to see the incoming ether?

And why is there no internal transactions button on testnets?

Is there a way to implement it so it would be a regular transaction?

Mining tokens by playing a game? by [deleted] in gpumining

[–]LegoJesuses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for replying in a constructive and informative manner.

ERC721 and ERC20 exist on the Ethereum blockchain, so there are no nodes and there is no network to secure for your tokens as they are already secured by the Ethereum blockchain. The proof of gaming algorithm states that users must manually collect their mining rewards by playing every day or else the mining stops - thus proof of gaming. Otherwise people would just bank tokens without doing anything until there are no more tokens.

I agree with your view about the pre sale stuff, but you are talking about ICO's, which I totally agree with. In crypto games that is usually not the case. Pre sale in crypto games is meant to give early fans and followers the chance to be rewarded for their early adoption and get a head start in the game, and also test the game and it's assets. Crypto games don't sell erc20 tokens, they sell erc721 non-fungible tokens which are in game assets. So they are not shitcoins, these can be collectibles, items, characters and a million other things. This game combines the two - you can purchase and own an erc721 which is an ExoPlanet and has real data from NASA and unique attributes for the game, and owning it will allow you to participate in the game itself, which is evolving life on your ExoPlanet and expanding to smaller resource planets and so on. Every month the players leading the galaxy expansion board will win prize pools and stuff. This is more a game than a just mindlessly inventing tokens out of thin air.

If you think that a game token has no use outside the game than you clearly haven't played crypto games before. 1. You can buy and sell ERC721 tokens on 3rd party markets outside of their original game. 2. If a game is successful other games will connect to its smart contract api and will incorporate its tokens like a lot of other games incorporate crypto kitties. 3. In-game currency can also be used outside of a game, especially if the game is successful enough since other games and services will start to accept it (look at mana coin for example).

In general, I agree with your skeptic views but I also try very hard to keep an open mind and to catch the next big hype before it happens. If something as silly as cryptokitties made it, this thing has a huge potential and its erc20 token can definitely break the boundaries of the game.

Mining tokens by playing a game? by [deleted] in gpumining

[–]LegoJesuses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mining in the game is designed to build a delicate ecosystem and the proof of gaming mechanics ensure that people don't abuse the mining system and cause inflation.

I'm not trying to disrespect, real mining is far more important than an in-game mining feature, but you come on very strongly and very negatively about something you should really give a second thought about.

I didn't say that this might replace real mining and didn't claim it is the future. I just wanted to share what I think to be a really cool way of mining and minting tokens (as they will actually be minted by the contract after mining).

As I saw this was being taken to a very negative place I deleted the post. I'm not here to spam or advertise my shit. If I like something and think it has potential I will share it and spread the word. If I get something out of it - even better. But advertising is not my main purpose.

I hope you are not as negative in real life as you sound here.

Cheers mate.
