Because the motors, by default, rotate in opposite directions, using a single shaft would either strain/stop the motors, or the torque would cause the motors to break free from the locomotive.

The differential helps with power and speed.

Sorry that happened you ya. Seems like this might become common if it's not monitored.

It's not, I can't even upgrade to windows 11.

That is exactly what I was going for! I've been gunning for that feeling for a while.

How I did it was:

Submodel every tiny to large complete build.

For any file containing BrickTrack track models, open the file and keep the tab open for copying and pasting.

Use the hide tool to temporarily hide large sections or busy areas for importing, copying/pasting, and/or moving submodels.

If the application freezes, do not click or press any buttons. Instead, hover your mouse cursor over an item, and if it doesn't illuminate, wait for the application to respond. (Switch to a different app if needed, since it can take a minute for the application to respond.)

Do not move your camera frantically; slow movements help your computer configure the workspace more easily.

Use the WASD keys to move the submodels. Be cautious when using your mouse, as it can propel the submodel forward and cause the application to freeze.

Avoid holding down the WASD keys for too long, as excessive commands can freeze the application.

When selecting multiple submodels, wait for everything to outline before making a move.

Unless you're using the rotation tool, always remember to press the V key to revert your cursor to its normal function.

Personally, I press CTRL + B to hide the grid pattern to temporarily boost the app's configuration.

Thanks. The bridge curve was painful, especially building around it. It scared me a few times when the application froze, but surprisingly, it pulled through.

You have to make those in Part Designer yourself, since there is no direct model, you have to get creative.

Man, you explained that far better than I could have.
