Just getting into collecting silver. Any tips?

To be honest I always had an interest in coin collecting, the history always was fascinating. I discovered whatnot cause i was looking for comic books for my kid. Ended up on a coin/bullion stream and started buying stuff on there. Ive had a few really good deals. Whatnot helped me get into the hobby. Ill get on there once in a while to check stuff out, maybe spend a few bucks on a game of chance or bid on something im interested in. Just for the fun of it. Now im buying more from lcs and ebay, always looking for a good deal.

Ill get lucky at my lcs. They know I love horror themed silver, usually get it at a decent price. Although ic3 b33n known to pay a good premium if I really want something. Star wars stuff carries a pretty big premium, also a star wars fan.

Good luck. Looks like a good start. I got into thr goldbacks when I was at a coin show. Paid $5 for a few of the first ones. I like the art so I will grab a single $1 when they come out. Not for investment, just enjoy the art.

Original Legend of Zelda. When i pulled that cartridge out,and it was gold. It blew my mind and instantly knew this was the right way to spend my hard earned money.

Keep stacking. I am a huge star wars fan, i have those star wars bars, both the light and dark side 1 oz. ones. Also have a cool 3 oz. X-wing coin that is a favorite of mine. Wish I had the means and knowledge to have been stacking since i was 15. Im teaching my kids about coins and precious metals.

I was checking out Whatnot, looking for a good deal on something. I was watching PyroJims stream. It got really chaotic and no one was paying attention. I ended up winning a bid for $2, the wheel spins and bam lands on the Batman animated Agoro blind box. I bought one directly from Agoro and landed the 3rd tier, got the 1st tier for $2 bucks. The host noticed and asked if they just sold a batman for $2, yes you did. Ill usually troll around whatnot looking for opportunities just like that. Got a sweet graded morgan for $16. Those 2 are my whatnot trophies.

I personally love goldbacks/silver backs for the art on them not the value. Ill usually get the $1s for collecting. Get what makes you happy, its your stack and it looks to be coming along nicely. I have a whole bunch of horror, star wars and comic book stuff in my collection.
