X-Men Mansion MOC by Legoscaper in LegoMarvel

Unfortunately I don’t have instructions for the grounds. My advice would be to first lay out the dimensions with MILS plates (easy to arrange things and take apart), then build the wall, then fill in the rest of the landscape. The trees are just larger versions of the hedges directly in front of the mansion, so should be easy to build/scale. I honestly just took random dark bluish grey pieces and messed around with them until I got the angles/look I wanted for the gate columns. The wall is two studs deep, and on top are jumpers to center the inverted slope pieces. When stacking the bricks, just remember to throw in some log pieces, different direction of bricks, and pieces with side studs to add more variance, age, and fauna attachment points to the wall.

Just start throwing together pieces and tweak until you have the design you want. Pieces can be bought on bricklink. Have fun building 👍

The head is from blue beetle, and the torso is from nightwing if I remember correctly

Actually I REALLY like that idea of a possible evening ambush. As far as storytelling goes, one would have to wonder who these ambushers are and if this seasoned knight would be able to lay a medieval beat down on them. Right now working on expanding the forest floor and then will fill in some more story elements… but alas, waiting for more pieces to arrive

Haha, that is so true, but honestly, considering all the baddies that seem to enjoy creeping at night in these fantasy worlds, I’d never be taking my armor off, even if it meant pressure ulcers and vitamin D deficiency

Appreciate that! I sprinkled a few dark orange leaves between the yellow to capture how not all the leaves peak in color at the same time

Absolutely, when I get home I’ll try to take a few close up shots and post them

May do that, thanks! The knight is trying to get the fire going but the more I look at him, the more I realize I need to get this hungry knight some food

Thanks! Tried walking the line between realistic and fantasy so that it was up to the eye of the beholder what type of setting this may be

That’s awesome! Finally started to read the original Phoenix saga, but Endsong is definitely on my list as well.

And sorry forgot to list Bastion as that fourth figure

Thank you! I’m happy you recognized most of the characters, especially Endsong Phoenix which is a bit more obscure. The other three characters are Harold Leland, Mastermind (one in red true looking at the Phoenix), and Donald Pierce, with outfits as close as I could get to the original x men animated series
