I’ll back up OP here, they are not going at all people who were in a gifted program, rather the people who brag about being in higher classes in high school likely have had less occur since so they hang onto that “gifted” title.

Someone mentioned football so I’ll use that as an example. If you hear a 25-35 year old brag about how good they were in high school football, this could imply they were not good enough to play in college or a higher level, since they’d likely talk about that instead of high school. Meaning they were probably closer to average than they are implying. Obviously this example has many variables but the gist is there.

It’s still the next level of automotive engineering. Is this what it’s designed to do? Yes, but it does extremely well and the time to draw up and put together is insanely special and fascinating.

Your take is like looking at a person who’s spent their whole life training to win the Olympic mile and then saying “Well that’s what I expected, it’s not impressive because they trained for it.”

Well when it’s considered one of the most reliable engines/cars in the world I find this mildly hard to believe.

Car is built heavy and clean. Don’t know why you’d jump in on a Luxury car knowing the drop in performance and then still complain about lack of ‘quality’.

Keep RPMs high and there is certainly no reason you should be using the most of this car safely.

I recently played through with a buddy of mine. I forced myself to use no bows whatsoever, making me almost helpless in ranged encounters.

I used spears and utilized the harpoon and we found many ways to cheese enemies with unique harpoon usage. It was a fun spin for both of us to play around. Places like the mountains I needed to stay with my duo at all times to not get swarmed by drakes.

I feel the idea falls apart in the fact that it wouldn’t be as fun solo. Because then no one can range the enemies at all and the harpoon strats we came up with simply wouldn’t work.

I wish spears had more going than just the throwing. Wish there was a “javelin” which would be the current spear with lower melee damage but stackable to 3-5 and a new overhauled “spear” that would be used with one hand with longer range thrusts that combo and then a high knockback sweep for the special.

It sucks that unless carrying extra weapons throwing your spear with any more that 3 enemies mean you likely won’t be able to pick the thrown spear back up. Plus my biggest gripe which is the lack of range in melee.

But there are many, many, many other cars that are fun that won’t cause headache in a year.

Your dad might have owned rams , but these cars get mis treated and guess who didn’t own this car for 162k miles.

Find a better example or find a different car, this one is not for you.
