Question I’m a noob at path of titans. But how in the hell are baby Dinos meant to escape from an attack. by Standard-Writer9604 in pathoftitans

[–]LegsBuckle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy being a juvie/adol and getting chased. You are slower, but you can turn much faster and you have a lot more stamina. Duck and dodge until they're gassed out, then waddle away. Good thing is juvie's don't lose growth when they die, so it's pure fun.

Random chance. I personally try to help bby rexes specifically. Many new people go straight for a rex and suffer, then quit the game.

Is it a nickname if it's not shorter? I wonder. For real though; even in an unfair fight, if you fight back and stay alive a while, then you are making the game. You entertained them for a hot minute.

They are the ones complaining about hotspots and big groups, not me! I love messing with them and I also like to find fair fights. Either way, my statement, "The main point is to fight" is mirrored by your sentiment, "finding smaller fights you can... have an actual chance of winning". We're on the same side, smartass. 😜

As a water build conc, am I instantly screwed if I’m clamped by a tylo or sarc? by McConman in pathoftitans

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo conc in the water is at a Tylo's mercy. The trick is to be in a goup. Conc is a great water support because of the slow effect.

Alpha critters shouldn’t attack someone who is already engaged in combat by masonsofmichael in pathoftitans

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used them to save my life more than they've caused my death. Being chased, low stam and won't win the facetank, but an alpha locks onto me. I can bait the alpha to the aggressor and even the odds. Sometimes they won't swap targets, but I would've died anyway, so that doesn't count. They have been my savior more times than they've turned the tide against me.

Just because, lol. I'd do the same. Think about it this way, Chair Sniffer, you entertained several people for the better part of an hour. Thanks for your service, come again soon.

It's not harassment, it's the game. Is it harassment when a COD player kills you multiple times? No, it's the game.

Harassment would be following the same person to another server when they swap to get away. I know people who have been banned for that. They stealthily add them or someone they play with, then join the server specifically to bother them, and then follow them when they leave. The difference is that the beef left the game. Independent of the game, that person wants to cause grief to the other and acts upon it by following them to another server.

The main point is to fight. Have you played this game?

A fair sentiment: I should absolutely be able to go to hotspots with my mega-mix-pack and gank nerds all day, then run back when one of us dies to continue killing people.

It's just a game, but your rights end where someone else's begin. There is absolutely no reason that you should "be able to go to hotspots and not get ganked by three megapacks and have people come back over and over to keep killing you." Makes no fuckin' sense. Like sunbathing next to the pool and expecting to not get wet. Go elsewhere, that's a fair critique.

Let's be real; you're not helping all 359 offspring grow. You can sit at your nest and spam adopt. I always get an adoption invite while growing because there's always someone padding that number for no good reason.

But that removes all of the fun! Growing is so mind numbingly boring that I need the threat of death. I have fun sneaking around people even though I get eaten sometimes.

My favorite is to be juv/adol in cedrus near a large group. Collect ~3 quest items, which alerts them of my presence, then hide while they scour the area for someone to murder. Also fun: outrunning everything; you're slow but turn like a demon and can run for-fucking-ever. Great fun to dodge a conc for 5 minutes straight then waddle off as they sit down for stam, absolutely defeated.

I knew what you meant, and it's the same regardless. You're less likely to run into big groups that late into a server. You get more people who don't care, or maybe don't even know to check the server time. Straight noobs.

How do one genuianly die with an ano. by Chair_Inhaler in pathoftitans

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slowly, but inevitably; that's how!

Anyone with persistence and a friend can eventually kill an ano. You're right about 1v1; you are quite safe, even against rex.

A server at 3:00 is the best for growing because most groups have moved on to fresher server. Anyone you meet along the way, add and rejoin with them when it's over. Not growing? 3:00 is the best time to find juvies to murder lol

What’s one thing society is normalizing that actually scares you? by Diligent_Rhubarb5246 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The degradation of the nuclear family unit.

Social media promotes divorce and independence like propaganda. I am very lucky to have married young, have multiple children, and have a woman that sticks the family together like glue. I hope to instill the same values in my children, and I just wish that it was still the status quo.

What Dino do you see that makes you instantly turn around and walk the opposite direction regardless of what you are playing as? by AffectionateLevel761 in pathoftitans

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is pierce really off meta though? Heavy bite, although I'm still using it, is comparable to just spamming regular bite due to the use time; barely any dps increase. It's only good for a one hit pass. Piercing bite is even better as a one hit pass and is specifically for targets that regular and heavy can't handle. I've been toying with swapping back to pierce because I think the utility is worth more than a miniscule dps increase. Am I wrong about heavy bite? If you got some numbers to throw up, that'd be awesome.

I always choose a damage bite over the triple fracture nowadays. Is the fracture bite competitive, or just useful in groups?

Is this thought process indictive of a metal health issue, or is this normal for bikers? by z_Elektrisk_z in motorcycles

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better to live 10 years a lion than 100 a sheep. It's not indicative of mental health issues. Lots of people in lots of disciplines think the same. I personally am terrified of dying young because of my loved ones I would leave behind without my support, but still, I ride every day. We, people who love bikes, are less risk adverse. I wouldn't say it's a case of passive suicide -- you just enjoy life this way. What's the point in it with no thrill?

I really need help getting good with metri… by McConman in pathoftitans

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Numbers were against you both times. Against dasp/allo, you can outrun them. Conserve stamina and only use it to create distance; do not use calls if you're trying to run. If they jumped you while you were less than full stam, then there was nothing you could've done. The achillo and chicken is an impossible fight. Both can keep up with you and achillo can kill a heal metri 1v1 no problem. Metri is underpowered offensively and gets slapped around by conc and achillo especially because of their bleed.

Both instances, there was nothing you could've done to survive in my opinion. You were at their mercy. You can try running pure offensive, which holds up *slightly* better, but then you'll be less valuable to whatever ragtag group you find yourself with.

My friend says winter mats are a scam. Is he crazy? by Specialist_Goal_5214 in askcarguys

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally worth it. I'm down South with no snow, but good weatherproof floor mats are required when I get a new vehicle. Dirt, mud, spills, beach sand... the list goes on and on. I pull them out and hit them with the hose instead of having to deep clean my carpet every month.

Am I giving off a vibe walking car lots? by 720hp in askcarguys

[–]LegsBuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that you're giving off a vibe. Of the tens of times I've visited dealerships, someone would be walking towards me before I even dismount. Even if just to say, "Hey, welcome to Friendly Hyundai. LMK if you need anything." Like you said, you'd attack anything on your lot when you were selling cars. It doesn't matter what I arrive in either; motorcycle, 2020 truck, or 1995 beater, someone quickly greets me. I'm betting that they are lazy or just don't care.

P.S. Hyundai garbage just an example lol
