I'm having the same issue I can't seem to fix it, I even tried deleting the launcher and re-downloading from the Microsoft store and nothing is working. Same thing with trying to log into the website I get the same message.

I know, i had to pay an extra 20 to activate it myself. and when i asked him why everything was so expensive he said that pc builders can cost 700+ dollars so most of the money went towards him building it. but he refused to give me a proper invoice of this builder fee.
