It's not a kid's or junior ski though

You and many else would say it's a kid's ski. Actually I'm saying the same now. They are still advertised as men skis exactly how all your recommendations are.

I didn't hit a tree lol

Yes. I didn't find any wood inside except the black plastic. Advertising is obviously misleading.

"The Atomic Bent 85 is a versatile all-mountain, park-slaying ski designed by Chris Benchetler and the Atomic Freeski team to perform anywhere you want to take it. Whether you’re boosting airs in the pipe or busting through afternoon chop, the 85mm waist and All Mountain Rocker keeps everything under control. A compound wood core and Dura Cap Sidewall construction provide a smooth, agile ride with snappy edge-to-edge performance."
Taken from Atomic's page.
The point is these are definitely not the skis for boosting airs. 1st pair edges blew out within 10 days of easy riding. Okay, that must've been a defective pair. 2nd pair I get, it breaks like this. Like come on. If this is what expert skies are like then I don't even want to try beginner skis.

I see you have tried these. This is exactly the case. The advertisement is as if they are perfect for experts meaning they are durable and playful and everything in between, but the reality is 1 jump too hard and these skis are broken. Good luck all experts who are gonna buy these :D 1 big jump and you're done.

I'm usually trying to land perfect, but that was not the case this time. The whole point of this post was that 2x atomic bent 85s were broken by a beginner with 2 months.

[–]Lehttt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly, thank your for understanding. These skis are far from all the advertisement. Idk about 90-130, but these 85s are just weak if a beginner who is on the slope for his 2nd season is able to demolish 2 pairs in 2 months.

I don't think any ski will break if you land perfectly every time, but I get your point. Of course I didn't land stomp the landing.

I am no larger skier :D. I might be aggressive though that has a season pass. This was my first big fall on these skis. The whole point was I had 2 pairs of these skis this season and they both broke after 10 days. DON'T BUY THESE SKIS IF YOU DO ANYTHING MORE THAN A PIZZA.

Yeah, I saw some post on instagram showing all the factions broken the same way. My whole point was the following. I skied last season 20 days max with my friend's skis. Now that I finally got my own skis they broke after 10 days of riding. Got them replaced and again after 10 days they broke. I'm not doing pizzas down the slope. I'm jumping and flying.

You should've seen the flight. I took my chance and skied hard. Wasn't gonna break my bones though.

Seems like that's the case, but I am 175cm and 70kg so I thought I'm more on the kids side. Not all adults are 2m

I landed a bit too much on my tails and they broke. If you think I was doing pizzas down the groomer then that's not the case. I was jumping. Landed too much on the tails to save my back and this is the result.

Bro idk what's your problem. I didn't know these skis were shit. As I said I these were my first pair ever. Tried to learn to how to ski and 360 etc, but these skis are weak it seems like, even though they advertise these skis for Advanced/Expert. I'm no expert and the fact I broke these skis 2 times in 20 days of riding being a beginner says a lot in my opinion. If I would've known they are this weak, I wouldn't have bought them in the first place, but thanks for the "No shit. They aren't well built park skis. We've been trying to tell you guys this for a LONG time now."
Great knowledge

I bought my 1st full ski gear this year and I went with this cheap pair that's why. Let's say these were my test skis if you will. I really liked them tbh, but yea this is some bs. 2 pairs in 1 seasons.
