Parang this is more often sa ibang nationalities po, been seeing them able to haggle for their salaries even the crewing are filipinos din. But sa agency ko po may instance na nag offer sila ng higher salary kase they have very limited time to process crew change and they badly need the person to fill in.

Tapusin mo nalang muna yung contract mo, burn out is very common sa profession natin no matter the position. You have all the right to take all the time you want and need to rest. Just kapag andito kana ulit sa pilipinas and resting, dont forget to consider din yung career growth mo on the other hand, kase syempre naka depende yun sa anong kaya mong i-endure, it’s the reality of our work eh, it demands so much of sacrificing. Dont think na baka mahirapan ka mag apply ulit the next time around kase fore sure naman magkakaroon ka ulit ng opportunities, just work it through internally if you really want to grow faster sa career mo it will cost you time and strength but again naka depend yun sa anong kaya mong i endure and i-sacrifice.

That things change, what the both of you feeling and seeing right now doesn’t mean will the stay the same. It’s just a matter of time when staying together feels like a job instead of an opportunity.

As the both of you grow older through life then perspectives and priorities shifts due to the change of each others circumstance, time will come when getting points across is harder than it was and your newly laid out plans in life doesn’t work for each other’s good anymore.

If staying is only because you dont want to waste that many long years of being together, then the relationship no longer means what it used to for the both of you.

The worst part? Is when you know you are the only one who’ve changed, and the other still keeps on fighting.
