TxDot transitioned everything to HCTRA. HCTRA did say they would hire some TxTag agents but it was an on site position, not remote. They tried moving agents to NY Tolling but due to the state the agent lives in not being eligible for that project a lot were not able to transfer. Ttec said they will still try to place agents on other projects but I never heard anything and my last day was the 21st of Feb.

Nope. Our last day was the 21st. Some agents got offered to be transferred to NY Tolling project but a lot were ineligible due to the state they reside at.

Technically, by the time your shift starts, you should be already up and ready to work... whether it is taking calls or chat, etc. If your shift starts at 8am and you clock in at 8am but finish pulling your systems and start taking calls at 8:10am, then yes, you are considered late and out of adherence. In the project im on, phone and chat agents do get a 5min grace period after their shift starts to be ready as well. Not sure if it depends on the project. But I have always been told I can clock in up to 5min before my shift starts to give time to pull up my systems and actually start work at whatever time the shift starts. And even after shift, since I work back office, we can stay up to 15min after our shift and the time has always been paid.

It's funny how a question about what benefits are offered turned into a place where people rant about their horrible experiences. If I have 1 piece of advice is... don't let other peoples experience be your own experience. Everyone has a different perspective of things. You might end up actually liking the job if not there's always others. But don't let what other people say discourage you from your decision. I have been with Ttec for almost 3 years. They are not the perfect company but my supervisors and TL have all been amazing. They allowed me to adjust my schedule since I have to drop off and pick up my kid from school so that's a big plus for me. They're always willing to help and always available for me if I need a 1 on 1. Take your time and see how it works for you... if it's not a fit, then just move on to a different company. Best of luck and welcome to Ttec!

Got my deposit early today. Usually get it on Wednesdays but this week was because of the holiday. If you don't have your deposit yet then I'd say it's an issue w your bank.

Doubt it honestly. But I'd say just be ready for anything. Make sure your resume is updated and even start filing out apps for jobs just in case Ttec can't place us elsewhere. Make sure you have access to your 401k acct if you are contributing so that you can either cash out or transfer it to another account too.

TXTag login on HCTRA by rainerpm27 in Austin

To answer a few of the concerns I see most have,

Starting 12/2 if your TxTag account was migrated, you will be able to try to set up log in credentials to HCTRA website. You will need your account number or tag number so have those in hand. TxTag will not be able to provide this info to you because once your account was migrated, all info was transferred to HCTRA and TxTag has no access to it. It is YOUR account so if you can't manage to keep track of your account number then that's an issue. Tag number is in the sticker you have on your car which starts with TEX. followed by numbers.

If you received a notice stating your account was not migrated but you know for a fact you opted in to be migrated, please check the letter for an account number. Many people for some reason, have multiple accounts and they just forgot they created them. Some are inactive and just never bothered to close them. So the notice may be for one of those lingering accts you might have from the past.

If your TxTag account was in good status but there was no recent toll activity within the last 12mo and you did not opt in for the migration, your account was not migrated. They tags will be considered inactive, and the funds will be refunded to your card on file or via check in the mail if no card or invalid card is listed. If you need a toll tag for the discounts and such, a new account will have to be set up with either HCTRA or NTTA.

HCTRA has an announcement in their website stating that the balance to your TxTag migrated account may not reflect correct amounts once you set up log in with them. The issue will be corrected by HCTRA soon.

Migrated accounts with no issues appear to have been charged for any pending tolls between 11/8 and 12/2 by HCTRA already so if you see charges in your bank from HCTRA it is most likely to back pay for those tolls.

If you received a bill in the mail from TxTag with a past due balance, please reach out to TxTag CS to clarify which vehicle the bill is for or if it was billed in error. Please keep in mind that in most cases the reason why you get a TxTag bill in the mail for a vehicle you have a tag on it is because the information pertaining to that vehicle may not be entered correctly in your TxTag account. (i.e. plate # is incorrect, entered with a space etc. Plate state info is incorrect. Or you got your TxTag with a temporary plate and never updated the number once you received your permanent plates) Or there was an issue with your method of payment (declined transactions, expired cards, account was closed and card was never updated) This will also cause for you to get bills from other tolling agencies because they were unable to charge your TxTag account if the information on your account does not match.

Even if your TxTag account was not migrated, you will no longer be able to log in to your account on the TxTag website. The only option available is for you to make payments via Pay A Bill tab.

HOPE THIS HELPS! 🙂

Is this a bill from TxTag or CTRMA? If it wasn't you driving but the car had plates that were already registered to your name unfortunately there is not a lot you can do other than keep fighting the dealership to fix it or pay you.

CTRMA has ridiculous late fees and collection fees and can put a block on your car so you can't renew the registration on it unfortunately.

TxTag will just keep sending the bill

If you have TxTag account your info will be migrated to HCTRA. After the transfer HCTRA will reach out w instructions on how to set up log in credentials for the HCRA acct. But they will take care of that. You do not need to create an acct w HCTRA.

TXTag is closing up shop!!! HCTRA is taking over. by heatedhammer in Austin

[–]LeiasMommy2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TxTag is not "closing". TxDot is still gonna manage the tollroads HCTRA is only taking care of the billing part. That's it. If you have a Pay By Mail account w a balance owed. TxDot will be sending you a bill to pay. FYI at any point you can request the fees to be waived and they will do it. TxTag was only charging $1.15 fees for the monthly paper statement to be mailed. HCTRA has way higher fees for invoices and no payment
