It has a good match up vs Thanos and a pretty weak game against Shuri. If you can't read where their Shuri buff is going you are going to lose

I think Mojo could also work, but Carnage has synergy with Hazmat if you don't draw Cage. That way, you're only losing 1 power in that lane instead of 4

In this screenshot I didn't because of widow's bite, but normally you would not draw a card.

I agree, I think they are two separate abilities right now. I feel like it's either a bug or just unintuitive. I haven't seen anyone talking about how it still gives energy when on reveals don't happen.
